I remember seeing the company name in the story when it was first posted. Now it says "new startup" with no company name. Maybe there was a conflict of interest with the frames Thinkgeek sells.
The sale of lockpicking devices is highly regulated within the United States. In addition, federal law prohibits interstate mailing of locksmithing devices, violation of which is a misdemeanor. Locksmithing devices can also only be sold to authorized recipients.
The "backbone" of the whole internet and telephone net consists of optical fibers. For transmission capacity doubling each optical wavelength may carry two signals with mutually orthogonal vibration directions. The results of this technology could be outstanding.
Ok, my dumbass figured it out. I was using we in general terms. Not saying that i developed anything in linux. Using we in an sense to signify the oneness that becomes when a group of people works together. Not really trying to say that i was involved in OSC devel. Trying to say that when people work together big things can be done. Not meaning that OSC is involved in problems with DC, yet just using that as an example of people working together and getting it done.
Sorry for the confusion, and yes i have tendancies towards the moronic
No, actually i started using linux in prison. Me and other gentleman needed to set up a lan with Mac Servers and NT servers. We had to share a CD tower between both of the servers. Linux looked like a good solution, and it was. Setup the AppleTalk, and Samba. Was able to make 2 Servers both with a CD-Tower with one computer. The guy i was working with heard about it from one of our college teachers. No I am not an expert on anything, haven't donated a bit of code to jack, but i do know that i have something to give...my voice, and i help how i can. I use windows on my main computer, and Mandrake 7.1 with Apache 1.3.12 on my webserver. Why? Because i can afford it, and it runs on a pentium 133. Bandwagons are dangerous, but if an individual chooses to help as he can and how he can, that's when communities are built. Not everyone in opensource development projects needs to be the extreme computer geek. The best things are made when everyone comes together and helps as they can. Using what they have, complementing one another with their abilities. You may be a damn good C++ programmer, I may be a good writer. Together we can put out a well documented program. Alone your program is garbled noise, and I am writing shitty posts on slashdot.
90% of the world didn't help on linux kernel issues. Probably not even 99%. But the few that did had a community. Complimenting one another with what they could do. And those few wrote an OS for the rest of the world.
This is just another example of what we can do when we work together. First we build one of the best operating systems in the world. Then we dont allow companies to push us around for no reason at all. In a way, yes, this is getting old, but we must all come together to fight this thing through. Only together we can defeat the beast that is digital convergence.
On line 19 of the FCC Declaration of Conformity it states "Changes of modifications not
expressly approved by RadioShack may cause
interference and void the user's authority to operate the equipment". What exactly does this mean? And who is to inforce it? The FCC or DC or RadioShack? People violate these FCC things all the time. Like operating you computer without a case...
Just to say that I may be bound by there old EULA (which i am not because i didn't install CRQ), would i be bound by the new one? My CueCat came with the old one. I never knew of this revision when I plugged in my cat. Which god do i bow to?

good job researching the story

Corporate Software Licensing In General is a Scam. Wouldn't you say? And thus, the goons who enforce these licenses are a scam.

Now when can I get this to the curb?
hello
how is this book not just like Open Source:Voices from the Open Source Revolution which came out a couple years ago?
Yes, aren't they great to us at the UMSL
