> see earlier/. stories about the French govt. banning english-esque net-related words.
Yes, the government TRY to banish english-esque words. But it's only work if you actually work for a government agency. All others company doesn't fuck up with this and let everybody use the word they have always used (in general English words).
LITTLE FLAME: So much bandwidth available... hum, it take me near 20 seconds to load the slashdot main page ans I don't talk about an article full of responses... So much bandwidth... But if you have too much money, you can send me some of it then i can have an OC45 at home...;-)
It seems that web designer omit the fact that there is always slow computers and slow connections. My work computer can't play flash animations (too slow), my home computer can't load big pages (56k winmodem). If a better compression could exist, it could leverage my poor home connection and if this compression is fast it can leverage my work computer. In the two case i am a winner.:-)
I agree with you that this reply seems to be a flame, it's nearly one because i am in anger to those who thinks that everybody have a T1 at home...
Yes, but for my ease of work i have a bunch of macro that work outside my word documents with other soft. For example: I have one who to do this:
- take the current word document and save is as text + as doc with the current date
- load ftp and start a batch file to transfert the text version to the BS2000
- start a compilation on the BS2000
- get back the error logs... and display back it in word
It seems to be stupid to do that, but i have some really interesting feature of word working for me like the revisions marks in my source code, color, bolds and so on that i haven't on the editor of the BS2000. And no, my company doesn't use a version managment system i do it myself with word.
Do I need to send this macro to microsoft if my 'option' is forced on 'ON' by my company ?
I Think to the all the mac papers who live essentialy on rumors, previews, new stuff and mac publicity.
If they put only previews and new stuff they can fill 95% of the paper with publicity. On the other hand, if they put rumors, they can put a lot of interrestings articles and drop all the publicity crap.
My heart is in balance between these 2 extremes:-)
The problem in your logic is that the average joe consumer not technology saavy represet more than 80% of the population. Then they don't care buying "Don't copy HD". Then others vendor start to produce "Don't copy HD" because of 80% of the market share don't understand what they buy. At the end the technology saavy persone have no choice to buy a "Don't copy HD" because there is no other solution except if one vendor take the judgment that 20% of the market share want a "Not don't copy HD" and have no presure from others vendors !
Get a smaller battery and get the current generated by the rider. The battery is just here to discharge when you stop. Then you can do some sport and burn some fat (a lot of american need it).
Put a GSM modem and get the internet live. But only for the rear passengers. The driver needs to not be disturbed.
It seems to me that IBM have the first virtualized is hardware with th VM (Virtual Machine) OS serie. I have worked on a ES9000 (Hardware) with the OS370 (OS) and OS390 (OS) at the same time during school.

Like Kleenex or camera? When you have finished all the units on it, you drop it. The SIM cards are too cheap to use them.
