Wasn't there an article on here a while back about another company that was delivering 802.11a "first"?

Don't program a single line outside of class necessity for at least a month. Find something else that interests you (a hobby, etc.) and develop that during the down time. Then, after having taken a sabbatical from programming, your mind will be relaxed and you're next exciting programming challenge will just be apparent.

Didn't you just re-enforce the original post? Maybe the original post could have been clarified by using "personal computer" instead of just "computer," but it was still an accurate statement.

It says clearly, "to ensure a message was sent to a designated recipient."

Some mail servers treat addresses like substrings when they match more than one username on a system. So, mail to brian@somesite.com would be delivered to brian, brianm, brianr, and so on. However, brian+@somesite.com will only be delivered to brian, and not any of the others.
If I remember correctly, Carnegie Melon has a system like this.

So, indeed, the '+' sign is in fact used "to ensure a message was sent to a designated recipient. "

I've had a Tivo for about a year now. I fast forward through the commercials just as much as the next PVR owner, but occasionally, my roommates and I find ourselves going back to watch a commercial that caught our eye while we where skipping over it. I don't think commercials are threatened. Eye catching ads like the ones seen on AdCritic will still live on and continue to make you crave BigMacs.

First, a disclaimer: I work for World Wide Packets (www.wwp.com). Anyway, WWP products are already being rolled out in Grant County, WA by the local utility company there. I couldn't quickly find a link to any past stories, but you may be able to find some on WWP's page. WWP's products operate over fiber and deliver Voice, Video, and Data. Voice refers to either an IP phone or a standard POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) phone. Video refers to streaming SDTV and HDTV. Data is simply that. I'm not a company spokesperson, so you should get official info from the website. Just FYI, R.
