    Staph infections aren't a great deal more deadly than they have been in the past, they are less treatable with antibiotics than they were when we first started using antibiotics.

    You don't need to install the environment to utilize the runtime (so the application can just ship the dll).

    A homeowner gets a whole bunch of 'convenience' value out of such a device, but if it becomes economic for homeowners to do such a thing at retail electric prices, I would think that electric companies would do it at wholesale prices (Consumers and Detroit Edison in Michigan run one of the largest batteries in the world, the Ludington Pumped Storage plant).

    You can run a fridge on gas. We have a propane fired refrigerator at our camp.

    They are based on 'ammonia absorption' if you feel like Googling.

    The point I was making is that your digital camera (probably) can't create drmed data, so it can't be 'turned on' to 'control you'.

    This is also true of many other devices.

    They are also attaching a big radiator to people's foreheads.

    And the actual paper doesn't really talk about a cooling effect, it simply states that the contact with the device becomes uncomfortable in ambient temperatures much below 22 Celsius.

    My local broadcast stations have had a couple of hour plus outages since the DTV transition, so perhaps 'new' has something to do with it (some of them were because they were unhappy with coverage and they upgraded power and changed locations).

    You mean that they are likely to have been processed by someone who doesn't care for formatting, so emphasis and paragraphs are more likely to be lost than in the Amazon version.

    I grew up less than 10 miles from a paper mill. They put out quite a lot of water vapor.

    (There are dioxins in the river the mill was built on, but that is from activity that took place 40 and 50 years ago)

    The banana monoculture is of a cultivar, there is plenty of variety left in the species.

    The big banana companies have breeding plantations where they work on replacement varieties.
