    I really don't understand the concern. It shouldn't be able to explode, no O2, and from what I've read the satelites aren't supposed to crash land. So what's the problem?

    The post was about the 2.4.1 kernel. I can get it to build but (IMHO) it dosen't appear to be as stable as the 2.4.0. Isn't that usually the case having the .0 kernel be more stable than the .1 up until about .5 ?

    According to the Darwin website they are affraid to make Bash the default shell (or even include it) because of a confusion of the GPL. (If they make bash available under the GPL does that make the system dependent on GPLed code?)

    Well, the original DC used a modified version of Windows CE, so for it to be compatible I would assume It would use the same OS, but with some different hardware

    In Georgia, where AT&T took over mediaOne, I have noticed periodic "pauses" in the service. And the customer service isn't as friendly.

    RIAA would never allow this. It would allow people to rip cds with little to no error in less time than it takes now.

    Is it just me or do we see things like this all the time, not just pen/stylus input, but a whole range of technology that seems specialized in it's abilities and is never adopted by the majority. I just see all of these as fancy expensive toys that display the abilities of technology and another thing i will never own.
