    Actully the first two companies that come to mind with bad buisness pracitces are ANY dot.com startup, and any Linux company. Poor quality, slashdot and sierra, bad reliabilty, AMD and Cyrix. But thats just me, I actully think most of MS's products are pretty sweet, like VB, and hate to tell you this but Win2k Rocks. Intels quality is typically much higher(once it gets released I'll grant you)than anything else.

    Umm, your figures are making the assumption that you would need to take the several hundred tons of stuff there and back. Besides to get it back all you really need to do is build a remote miner, a mass driver and sling shot the stuff to a space station

    Your saying that it's would be impossible to write a program that would run for a mere 24 hours or less without crashing? And you call yourself a programmer. My webservers been up for gawd knows how long, shoot, winamp has been running for a week solid. I dunno, it shouldn't be that hard...

    because even with the right skills its not that easy, and besides some people feel loyalty to there jobs, shit I stayed at mcdonalds for a year, even after I got job offers for 40 bucks an hour doing basic coding.

    Funny story about doing that at frys, I walk in with a laptop, nod to the security gaurd show it to him, go give it to the tech people. 20 minutes later I go get it and take it out, as I walk out the same security gaurd stops me and tells me that he's calling the police for theft...Ever since then I intentionally buy somthing thats very heavy(like some cd-rs) and as I rush past the security gaurds I let the bag whap them.

    umm, shrinkwrap liscense arn't valid, I have several lawyer friends, they are all in agreement, the party needs to actully "sign" the agreement. I've yet to sign any damn eula, not to mention if the BSA comes after me there going to be in for some problems, I've already got the blank papers filled out for invasion of piracy and theft of ip

    Actully theres been serious studies done on it, and if you actully look at the things, theres no way that just a few people could do it. The crops arn'te harmed at all, and there are also almost always little wierd flying things around before or after the event.

Who cares, what I think is intresting is the number of people in the us who are willing ot spends millions of dollars on trying to help these poor people out when it won't do a damn bit of good, instead of spendig it on somthing useful, like space exploration, MHD, Nuclear power, nuclear weapons for use against china...

    You bring up a great point, flocking. Well what if we installed a variation of Boids software on the computers running it. Then whenever you start it serarcehs for a flock and when you get near your destination it diesngages and flys to the bigger flock(the building)
