I have Coz at Home cable modem service. I get about 250 to 400K with my modem. But it varies widely. I agree with other posters that the speed of DSL is affected by the fact that in some area's phone lines are older than in others and are not able to carry higher speeds on them.

If it is anticyptography, but no one can translate it. Then it isn't working.
I think that if this censorship keeps going we will end up like the people in Fahrenheit 451. Censorship will start with putting "censorware" on computers in schools and other public places. But then it will spread to other things like books and newspapers. The censors will hide behind the cause of "protecting" kids from this great evil that is pornography. We wouldn't need filters if the parents who didn't want their kids to see that stuff would teach them values. If we taught our kids right then we wouldn't need filters because kids would click off of porn sites. But no matter how disgusting and disturbing we think some material is we can't just block it. People should have the right to look at anything they want to look at. We can't deny people this right because we claim to be a free nation and by blocking and censoring things we don't like we are becoming less and less free. We must stop censoring now!
But when I opened the link to pictures from inside reactor number 4 all a got was a page full of question mark links that went to more pages of question mark links.
I have been reading through the posts on this issue and many are against blocking but in a way I am for it.
I once saw a news story on one of the local stations in my area that featured a young teenager checking out R rated movies and easily viewing porn on the computers with internet access in the library. I found the ease in which the teen accessed the material scary. I think we should at least provide blocked computers for children. We should not allow them into areas with unblocked computers unless they are with adults and we shouldn't let them check out R rated movies without a parents consent.
They make games for the 13-16 year old teenage boy market because they believe that the market for boys is larger than for girls. Besides, blowing stuff up and killing people has been a staple of the videogame diet for a very long time. (I think it really got in full swing when Mortal Combat came out)

This is a great movie! It isn't as good as The Sixth Sense but it is still good. The ending is very unexpected!

That would be cool,but what happens if the DNA mutates when it trys to reproduce it self?
