    Well my friend, if it's possible for the phone companies to text message their ads to your phone in an instant, I'm sure these guys will find a way to update those definitions during say, 2am, much like a live update thing.

    What gets me is that this would be geared for either for distributions trying to enhance the user's "linux experience" or just to help newbies configure their devices "painlessly".

    Meanwhile, anyone with an ATI card, for example, would still be just as dead in the water as before. Of course, I would be curious to see how well this turns out.

    But adding gekco to it makes it a more powerful browser, as opposed to one that sometimes tends not to display pages properly. Thats why I used firefox in the first place. What is in store for the linux firefox now?

    What really needs to happen is that someone with an extensive music collection, and the desire to fight this, needs to leave various P2P applications open 24/7 with access to their vast, legal music collection, so that someone will notice.

    Umm, isn't that WHY the RIAA is going after people in the first place? That is, I'm assuming you mean leaving the MP3s open to P2P programs that you ripped from your own CDs for others to download.

    My name is WhiteRanger99x and I am a phone luddite...not by choice necessarily, but by the fact that I just cant afford the latest phone/PDA/Ginsu Knife/Toothbrush that's out there :)

    I do however like to think that my cell phone is actually fairly modern (ok, it doesn't have a camera, but it serves it's purpose) :P

    Something tells me that's going to play hell with the battery life on cellphones everywhere. :-)

    It's almost as practical as having a TV Screen right smack dab in front of you while you're driving your SUV, Truck, or whatever :-)
