Check out some of the fine stuff produced by Karl Denson, Soulive, MedeskiMartinWood and others...

and throw in galactic and leftover salmon and harper and it would be the greatest concert in the world...

yes, their is a lot of good music out there.
it just is not "popular".. the stuff that is happens to be canned shit

the largest damn heatsink that i have ever seen is on sgi indigo2.. this thing is a monster.....

the cooling system is pretty damn cool in these boxes cause they have a fan in the upper left hand corner that sucks air diaganoly accross the whole system (or blows ??).. then the power supply which is a beast on it's own ... especially in the purple impact ready boxes...

i am going to get some good fans and swap out the old one's this summer cause i am going half deaf..

but damn, the heatsink is a monster

isn't that the best part of montana?.. i have had a lot of stuff delivered to me with just a name..

    bandwidth, though, does suck.

just curious, what part of rural montana?

why is it that when sun is being a "bad guy" it goes to the front page for everyone.. but when they are a "good guy" the article is just stuffed away in no where land..

everything is just so god damn negative these days..

in my experience it is just that people are not willing to try.. they are so set in the notion that a pc is the endall greatest thing.. and that windows is the only thing that works in the world.. that they don't even consider a mac..

also.. i know a lot of poeple who are just way to lazy to actually spend the time and learn something different than windows

ok. i would like to know how this is -1 offtopic/troll/flamebait.. sure it's not linux, but it is unix.. hell.. half the other posts are about windblows anyways.. and the osX one gets this???.. OSX works awesome for this.. plug it in and go.. simple as that.. in my experience (on a tiBook) this was a painless process.. it worked right away on a sun monitor.. took it over to a projector.. and hey.. it worked perfectly.. just like that..

ok.. so it's not linux.. with xcinerama this should be easy to do.. so grab xfree86 4.2 and play with it..

are all the moderators on crack??

yeah.. but now it really has some competition... back in the day you could not come close to a playstation.. i though was addicted to goldeneye on the 64, but overall the PS spanked it.. now with M$ stupid machine out... the PS2 has some serious competition.. so i bet the PS3 will be out in a lot less time than it took the PS2 to get there.... (more importantly that M$ will probably get a BUNCH of games out for it.. hey.. they have more money than everyone.. if they say make the games.. it happens)

some of the themese are awesome. i use the hacker purple one, which is really nothing at all just a tiny frame around the windows.. no damn icons on the desk, just a nicely put together menu when you click anywhere on the desktop with the stuff that i use.

i use slack too, and with kde, gnome, and enlightenment installed, i am able to run any app i could dream off.

    gets even better on OpenBSD.

    cheers
