    How much are the exec making? It doesn't matter if the company lives, all that matters is that they make money.

    Just look at the average length of time a CEO stays at a company now.

    104 keys? The only true keyboad doesn't have 104 keys, it has 101.

    It's the IBM Model M keyboad that doubles as a self defense weapon. Mine was made in 1986/09/06 and still works great.

    I have worked for a Brokerage company (SNPC) before so I am aware of the rules and the lawsuits the lawyer mills pump out (like being sued when a client, agaist the advice of his broker lost money in an account due to risky trades he 'had' to make. His other accounts with us made a descent return yet he still sued of this)

    Corps don't have to do EVERYTHING they can to make a profit. They do, however, have to do what is reasonable and inline with their corp charter. IOW you can't sue a company that uses 100% recycled products to make other products on the basis that if they had used virgin materials they would have made more money.

    Oh, the stories I could tell.

    However, that doesn't change the fact that REVENURE != PROFIT.

    A company can make a lot in revenue as still lose money.

    A company becomes a fortune 500 company by market value alone. IOW, it is shares outstanding X share price. Take the top 500 and there is your Fortune 500 list.

    Revenue isn't the same as profit.

    The Itanium has features that allow large numbers of them to work together in a cluster better than the Opteron does. Don't forget these are SSI systems that are being joined to form this cluster and as far as I know their are no AMD SSI system that have 512 processors in them.

    Not everything can be broken into little pieces to run on a Beowulf cluster.

    Because a simple google search would have turned up MOSIX, OPENMOSIX, LinuxSSI amoung other SSI clustering environments.

    You didn't even try.
