The reason the power companies in CA are buying power on the spot market is because the CA goverment PROHIBITED them from having short/long term contracts!
If cable does not get slower when more people are on it they why does the cable modem I use at the office (Colleyville, TX) get slower when school gets out and on days with no school? This does not happen on my personal cable modem nor does it happen on my DSL line 1500/128 (Euless, TX).
About corps sharing a 100 mbs link, of corse they have great speed with a lot of people on it! They are NOT downloading from napster or porn sites!!!
And how will these used goods get back to them? It seems that it would use more energy/materials (oil) to send the goods back then we could get out of them by recycling...
