    Well, till enought people in the USA have their wages reduced so much that they vote in people to fix the problem.

    That is something the medieval history major that runs HP and others like her forget to take in account.

    Kind of like the only people who are supporting all the illegal immigration are those that live in gated communities and/or have their own compounds and private security.

    I also suggest you look up and see who the insurer of last resort is for all these overseas factories. HINT. it is the US Taxpayer.

    Try this (haven't ran the numbers do not know runtime)

    1-4 deep cycle batteries
    1-2 heavy duty / high duty cycle power inverters
    1-2 10w-15w CF bulbs (put out about as much as a 40w-60w normal bulb)
    1 weather radio (2-3 AAA batteries)
    1 normal radio AC and Battery (4-6 C batteries and plug into inverter when batteries are dead)

    You can also look at the battery powered lamps ment for camping.

    The DOEducation budget isn't they only way for FEDGOV to spend money on education. It doesn't include the direct aid to states nor (I Think) include the cost of student loans. It also doesn't include the 'cost' of tax deduction related to edu spending by private citizens.

    Ford, Bank of America, Kodak, Eastman Chemical, DuPont, GE, and other fortune 500 companies are not small and they get sued all the time for minor matters like this. But Microsoft doesn't.

    It's just something to think about. (Like the settle out of court and no one knows about the settlements.)

    Well, in the USA at least, their is. The do not have nutritional info on them, that is why they say that. It stops people from suing them.

    Some of them have, I don't remember the details put Adobe had one concerning OEM software. I think that Adobe lost.

    John Edwards is worth more than 20,000,000 USD. Other major partners at large lawfirms make over 1,000,000 USD per year.

    Corp lawyers working for Microsoft do not make near that much.

    If a small company releases a product and people get harmed the lawyers decend like a pack of wolves to sue them.

    Why doesn't someone sue Microsoft? After all people sue companies all the time even if the product in question has warning labels.

    Do you know how many of the countries that germany, in WW2, attacked/invaded had major economic ties with germany? Most of them.

    It has happend before, and it will happen again.

    First, most of the poor in china don't have enough money to by more than 3 suits of clothes.

    Second, the Banking system in china is flush with bad loans and, if something isn't done, it will colapse. Either way, it will be very painful to fix.

    Third, china is in the beginings of a major energy crisis.

    Forth, what do you think will happen when all those poor peole realize that their 'leaders' are reaping all the profits?

    Fifth, what happens to those stock holdings if China ever nationalizes our investements?

    The world isn't a nice place, and neither is China. They do not like the US or Europe that much as, as soon as they can, they will rid themselves of us.

    Let me get this straight, you find your 2800 USD Dual g5 to be faster than most pc's you use. Ignoring the fact that the ASP for a desktop pc is about 800 USD.

    That isn't really a fair comparision, is it?

    I could just as easly say the samething about my dual athlon MP system (which, btw is faster than most macs for what I use it for)

    I suggest you google for Compaq vs IBM BIOS before you say the reverse engenering for interop reasons is stealing of IP.
