    Hydrogen isn't mean to be a fuel, it is meant to be a battery. Large portions of the USA do not get enough sunlight to make direct solar charging work.

    As to who would benifit from the money? Well, the company doing the work, the shareholders of those companies, the workes and the general public as with less demand for oil the price of oil would go down reducing the price of a wide range of products because FFuels are used as a feedstock in a lot of plastics production.

    Are those the same HEV's that most people do not get the advertized MPG? /. has ran a few stories on it, look in the archives. IIRC, most uses got about 1/2 of the advertized MPG.

    I would, but he till he gets rid of his idea that the borders of the United States should no be protected at all, that immigration should be unlimited and that goverment has no business protecting workers I will be unable to vote for him.

    He appears to want most people in the USA to be reduced to near slaves so he and the others in power will have a cheap source of labor.

    The owners of /. will not even put in dup checking code. Hell, they will not return my emails and I was a paying subscriber. When the will not take 3 minutes to respond to an email what makes you think they will do something else. I mean they where willing to walk away from at least 20 USD in almost pure profit because they are to fscking lazy to click reply.

    That's wrong. If each got 87,500 they would be taxes on that. The tax rate, after write offs and credits would be less tahn the near 50% rate quoted in the article.

    Well, if he would donate money with out strings that force those that take the money to have close ties to microsoft it would be different. The thing is, most of his donations are designed to sell/push microsoft products and yes that includes the donations to the birth control/gun control/child murders he gives support to.

    MCI/Worldcom came out in a BETTER position as they where about to right of large portions of their debt during the bankrupcy. Now they have much less debt than most of the companies they compete with.

    IOW, cheating pays.

    In China they only kill those that have fallen out of favor with those in power or those that brag about it too much.

    Just look at the billions in wages that companies in china haven't paid the people in the poorer areas of the country. Just google for it.

    Why do large corps get away with crap like this, hell the goverment doesn't even go after those whitecollar criminals that skip bail...

    But, normal crimes they come down hard on.

    How do you get a security clearance if you haven't been in the Military?

    It is fucking hard as you have to be sponsored by a company before you can get one and not many companies will pay you for 6-9 months till you get your clearance.

    But other companies and products are sued for that reason. I could tell you stories about clints suing a brokerage house I worked for that would make you scream (7 accounts, large profits in 5 of the accounts, moderate losses in 2 of the accounts, sue for only the 2 accounts. It's the stock market not a savings account)
