And when did this recession start? During the Clinton administration! It has leveled off and started a slow climb up. I guess everyone can't spend anymore, because most americans have racked up a fortune in credit card debt in the '90's.
Everybody has the hangover right now from the crazy uncontrolled growth in the '90's, and right now we are slowly recovering from Clinton's recession.
Yeah, but Clinton didn't get over 50% of the popular vote though! So did he really have a mandate. GWB actually had a larger % of the popular vote than Clinton did....
Let's see? Free and open elections have started. They need some help, so who better to point the new nation in the proper direction, than the two most industrialized nations in the world?
I believe the Iraqi people are free, and a brutal dictator is gone? The US and Britain were right, and Europe was wrong. Now the French and Russians are kissing our ass in order to get us to do some business with them. Great time to be an American, and GWB will be re-elected. Jeb in 2008?:-)
OSS gives away billions of dollars worth of software every day! They give it to schools, universities, small businesses, large corps, non-profits, people (like me), governments, etc. Most of this is commercial grade software such as; gcc, Linux, Apache, etc. Now that is Philanthropy!
I own 4 nVidia GeForce 3/4Ti cards, and this makes me sick! I guess next time I go shopping for a video card, I should start looking at ATI again. Semms like ATI is innovating again, and nVidia is just hoping that their brand name saves them...?
I love the nVidia Linux drivers, how good are ATI's?
When I was in college, everbody told me to be proficient in VC++/MFC, because "that is what everyone is using", then I heard this about C#. I told them I have too much pride than to center my education on programming on a particular platform. I was told that I would never find a job, well it turns out there is a lot of money in embedded programing, so I say f#(k F#/C#/MFC.... There is a lot of money out there for people who know gcc/++ and know how to program in a POSIX compliant environment (and don't tell me that NT is POSIX compliant). F#(K MSFT!
No it would be like the P4 is a 3.4L 6-cylinder that puts out 140HP, and the AMD is like a 2.0L 4-cylinder that puts out 140HP. They both put out the same power, but the first one has more piston displacement .
Anyone who knows much about cars, knows piston displacement really doesn't mean shit, put it on a dyno and see how an engine really performs.
Yeah nothing like building rock solid systems, except now companies are so cheap, they are going with less reliable alternatives. Intel (32-bit) systems==Cheap Sun Systems==Reliable Intel Itanic Systems==?
Is it me or does the Athens PC look just as stupid as beige boxes? Nothing like my Lian-Li PC case, which is slick in sort of an industrial h4x0r sort of way!
OSX is slick, it feels 50 times more refined than Windows2K/WindowsXP,KDE,Gnome. The way it renders full color icons, of multiple sizes.
Every time I go by the Apple store, I can't help myself and go in and play with the powermac G4 with two cineramic desplays. I like to take the Monsters Inc. trailer and fill one display with it, then drag it over to the other cinematic display!!!
I love getting uptight liberals pissed off. It is nice!
I'm just saying, GWB got a larger percent of the popular vote in 200 than Clinton did in 1992. If GWB doesn't have a mandate, clinton didn't either.
Whoever said it, it's a load of crap. In 1996, Clinton got 49%
I was talking 1992 not 1996. Clinton still didn't get 50% in 1996 either, but he didn't get near that in 1992....

So you guys are gonna let Saddam run in the election?
:-) I would love to see that.
Yes, let him step forward and get himself on the ballot...

Thank god I read your post before I replied, otherwise I would have been (-1 Redundant).
Yeah, nothing like the electorate in Arkansas though. You know where Billy Boy Clinton is from.
Jeb in 2008?
Unless you have significant mental handicaps, I fail to see how you could possibly find that funny.
I'm not being funny! JEB is a very popular governor of a very large state (kinda like his brother!).
Let's see? Free and open elections have started. They need some help, so who better to point the new nation in the proper direction, than the two most industrialized nations in the world?
(I can feel the Karma melting away)
:-)

Can't forget drinking your budweiser beer.

Yeah, with Opeteron, Sun could sell strictly 64-bit solutions, and act like Dell, HP, etc. are still in the dark ages of 32 bit computing.
A 1.0L motorcycle engine would power a sedan just fine. Just make sure you gear it down low enough.
Hmmmm, Troll?
Yeah, nothing like those worthless euros.

Remember sun's ECC cache bug? It was front page news (not on /.) for days and days and days....
I love Linux too! I run Linux on my home computer. For some reason OSX just always feels slick. The dock seems more smooth than my KDE dock does!

DDDRRRRRROOOOOOL!
Wait just a second! :D
Isn't it her job to please me, not the other way around. As long as I get what I WANT, everyone is happy!
