  1. Hate to say it ? on NZ Spammer Shutdown Makes Big Difference · · Score: 5, Interesting

Hate to say it, but in this case, vigilante type action seems to have had the desired result.

Why do you hate to say this ? If governments fail to do anything about spammers, possibly because they don't know how, the only option is vigilantism.
If the only way to stop these guys is to put their names in the paper or mention them on television shows, so be it.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing them being dragged down the street to be tarred and feathered.

If you tested any Microsoft "OS" would you say it is wanting because of it's total failure to interoperate with any non-Microsoft OS ? Oh no, wait a minute, because MS is a market-leader every other OS should confirm to it's, in this posters humble opinion, fscked up.
    Yeah right !

People here eat a lot (and I mean almost every single day) of potatoes, the national dish is mashed potatoes with some veggies and a piece of meat.
I really think a lot of people here are going to have a major culture-shock when suddenly their "stamppot" (no really, that's what they call the dish I mentioned) is purple.
Not a big surprise when you eat potatoes every day ;-)

I can't honestly say I wouldn't feel the need for retribution myself.
But does that make it right or justified?
