    Oh, I honestly don't think you can expect parents to be that responsible in our society today. But I do agree with your point about school as it is being a waste, and higher education starting at age 12 sounds like a plan.

    There aren't any square monitors. You probably mean a 4:3 width:height ratio. You see that as a square (because human brains are fsked up like that). A real square you'd see as a tall rectangle :)

    It's not news that SUVs are easier to roll over. Newton could have told you that (except they were called Sports Utility Chariots back then). It's just news to all the people who use their "common" sense instead of observations and logic.

    I've had to learn at work that "I don't know" is not accepted for a time estimate. People don't want to take responsibility. They want you to give a figure and then hold you to it.

    People's worldviews are fragile. They have a notion of how things "should" be. And experts "should" always give estimates.

    Am I off my rocker? That's just how it seems to me.
