Cool, DIE netscape, DIE X, Die DIE DIE!!!!!!!!
it would also be cool, but it would be not funny to get lost in/etc or/usr or something "God danget, I know that/usr/local hallways around here somewhere!!"
Severly, I put a modem in for a woman who was a heavy smoker. It was terrible, and her husband actually had enough nerve to ask me to clean it out for them (I wanted to take it out back and use the hose on it!).
Everything was gummy, and it made my clothes stink so bad I actually changed them in the middle of the day.
It seemed like they lit cigarettes, and just for the fun of it, taped em' on the front of the intake fan or something.
The same kind of thing Happened at OfficeMax.
They used to sell alot of different kinds of computers, and now there a minie-Gateway Country.
Kind of makes me mad, as I know from personal experience, Gateway sucks.
I'm using one right now, and I swear the Next computer, I'm building from scratch.
I'll be in School. Perhaps I could convince my teachers its a "Learning Experience".
Or, does anyone know any programs I would be able to use to record the one tommorow?
I'm sorry to here its based on the Quake3 engine, and it seems to me it makes things look way to cartoonish, I like the Quake2 engine much better.
An Example being that StarTrek game based on Quake3, it looked terrible (atleast to me)
A copy of QNX came on a CD with my copy of Maximum PC, what kind of makes me mad, it they put Linux right beside some of the least heard of, or least useful of OS's. They rated Linux right beside BSD, QNX, and BEOS. So say somebody says, "Heh, I want to try a new OS", but the Linux download is to big, so they get BSD, (note* I know some people like BSD, but its not as easy as Linux for beginners ususally), and they can't even get it installed. There goes Linux, Beos, and any other OS on that Magazine, because they must be just as hard to set-up and run.
Note= This comment was not meant to start a flame about any OS.
For a Pc on a Stick would be for a robot.
My uncle is Currently building a robot, and is trying to make due with an oopic Chip, but If he could put a 386 on the thing with some miniscule copy of Linux and a programing language running, it would be great.
I am actually thinking of setting this up after I looked through the website,
does anyone have any expereience with it, and how hard it is to get running? Or is it just one RPM to download and it works?
Would you please tell y tech. director that. I asked him if he had ever thought of using Linux, and he gave me this blank stare, I said "you know, the os", and he said something like, I do not feel as if it will adequately replace the effectiveness of Microsoft software. I also caught him one day saying Bill Gates "Coded all of Windows himself". This is coming from a man with an MCSE, so it was just pretty dang sad.

This one had me convinced for a while, until I looked at some other sites in its "Web-ring" and I realized it was a load of crap
The way I am understanding this is that they can't patent your DNA,
But say they find a new disease in you body, say, buttrottalotism, the doctor can patent it, and get say a Nobel prize, while you don't get a thing, but hopefully a cure.

You mean you didn't hire a Mexican to hold the button in for you so that you could preserve your uptime?
Who bets the court will be using a Microsoft program to stream the audio?

No you aren't, I noticed the same thing last October when I got Cable.
Actually, the Whole Slashdot Compound is stuck on ISDN, as they can't get Cable or DSL in Holland, Michigan yet.

Impossible, the platters of a Hard Disk are about the density of Card-board

Thats my guess, hope I win the t-shirt
Wasn't Microsoft supposed to split in two?
What ever happened to that? That threatens the "American Way" more than opensource.
Yes, but I want to know is, say I download a illegal movie, can I get prosecuted if they have my ip, and is this likely to happen?
IS their anyway people can trace you through Gnutella, say, I download a bootleg video, can I get caught?
