The biggest news (for me at least) is that the MSRP of the 7900GT is $299. Considering the 7900GT performs on par with the 7800GTX, which is about $100 more, the 7900GT is starting to look like a bargain.
If any of you bleeding-edge gamers want to sell off your "old" 7800GTX for $250 or so, drop me a line
instead of a contest to redesign the t-shirt, how about a contest to redesign this website? it hasn't changed in... ever. it was ugly back then, it's ugly now.
For example, the system could run interactive movies that blend Hollywood's expensive production systems with intricate story lines and characters who interact realistically with the user.
Good Lord! Reminds me of the days when the introduction of the CD-Rom games meant crappy "choose a plot" "interactive" movies.
perhaps lucas has a deal with apple (sure looks like it. just look at apple.com) and it's apple who's trying to prevent anyone from using any other format.
