We had the one and only election not meddled with by foreign entities. Where as we have meddled in the foreign elections of both allies and rivals. We now are experiencing a tiny tiny tiny miniscule dose of our own medicine - and whiny like a baby.
Just look at all the articles published by Huffington Post and CNN.com, so many were patently false. Millions was spent publishing fake news to benefit Hillary.
This isn't talked about, because it was in the Democrats' favor.
Okay, so let's say they hacked a 100 election officials. What are the odds it would of swayed the election?
Zero, zip, nada. Let's be honest, that's a drop in the bucket. A small city like New Haven, CT may have 100 election officials. The nation has thousands upon thousands of local election officials.
If anything this sounds like a hacker group, sent out thousands of spear fishing emails. And about a 100 recipients happened to be local officials, poll workers, etc.
The restriction to Amazon's own store. They did it wrong....
The Fire phone was actually pretty nice. I later got one when they were discontinued to use as a tablet. But the issue is that they locked you into the Amazon store, and made it a hassle to use Google Play and buy standard apps. BAD!!!!
What Amazon needs to do, is include both stores, but incentivize using the Amazon store.
How would I do that? I would release my next phone in conjunction with Amazon Coin. Purchase of a new Amazon phone would include x number of Amazon coin. Amazon coin can be used on Amazon services, and be converted to Amazon gift cards.
Then explain that the purchase of apps thru Amazon's store will earn you a percentage of Amazon coin. Buy enough apps, and you can pay for your prime membership, Audible membership, purchase movie rentals....and more.
Let the user decide. But motivate the user.....don't be a !@#$ Apple.
So far, no evidence of any real proof of Russian involvement has been provided. The main evidence purported in the government's released report was that the Russian Times published pro-Russian agenda articles. Duh.... like we don't publish pro-USA articles? And guess what, their right to do so is protected by the 1st Amendment. And really, simply google and you'll find that despite all the claimed twitter bots and Russian articles, the readership of those pale in comparison to the mainstream media.
And with further leaks, "hacker groups" which were presumed to be foreign entities have now in fact been identified as CIA spoofs.
"I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that's not why I lost," Clinton said.
I lost cause...
- I am a woman - Fake News - The Russians - The DNC was incompetent
NOT - I was repeated caught cheating against Bernie Sanders - The DNC collusion - Tarmac meeting to call off investigation - Failed to campaign to blue collar workers - Never got boots on the ground
(Both Bernie and Trump came thru redneck Pennsylvania and Michigan, Hillary assumed her win) - The long history of being a corrupt insider - Pass legacy of Clinton Administration - People are tired of political dynasty's (Kennedy's, Bush's, Clinton's)
These are why she lost...despite her campaign having twice the funds as Trump's campaign, the DNC party spending more than the Republicans, and the SuperPAC's that supported her having nearly 3x the funds of those supporting Trump. Only to be tromped in the electoral college.
With 10 days vacation, and 5 sick/personal days. And tons of regulations and things like vehicle inspections, etc. We essentially use most our vacation time toward just living (doctor visits, illness, kids, vehicle repairs, etc, etc).
Then about once every three years or so we make it thru the year and rollover 3-4 days. Then that year we go on a small vacation..
What do you consider generous? I worked for one of the largest and wealthiest companies in the world, and we got a total of 15 days off (10 vacation, 5 sick/personal). I'm in my 40's now. Health things come up more frequently. Then between all the crap we have to do for.gov (vehicle inspections, etc) we lose more time. 2015 ran out of time due to sickness and court (divorce). I wound up going for surgery, didn't qualify for FMLA because while I had been working on the same contract for several years, I had just converted to a permanent employee 11 months prior. Oh, and while we're at it....it's no fun being told you have to cancel medical appointments, and wait weeks in pain. And best of all, I converted, in part for better health benefits. Then shortly after conversion, our division was put up for sale and our benefits trashed. Joy.
American companies have ceased investing in workers. They view workers as disposable. Rather than take a solid capable worker and invest in expanding their skillset, they prefer to find younger workers with the existing required skillset, or to import them via H1B Visas.
There is so little training or skill investment by corporations, so little time off thus preventing U.S. workers from training themselves. U.S. workers are used and discarded.
So the irony here is that a Chinese firm is saying to itself, these coal workers are hard workers. They're knowledgeable and skilled in their area. This means they work hard and they can learn. We can use that, and then use them for in-roads into Western nations and markets.
Here I have a bunch of digital films. These are films I have bought the digital rights to. I have a phone and a mini-projector. Apparently, I am no longer allowed to stream content from phone to external device. Excuse me?
WTF???
So at this point, I am nearly ready to capitulate and start just pirating movies as it's so much !@#$% easier than dealing with the legitimate channels.
Funny, I am on an on-call rotation, which I am rarely ever compensated for. So companies want to be able to invade your lives on a whim, and want protection.
There is no employee/employer balance. And I think, if you're salaried, shouldn't your schedule be flexible. Now if you're not doing your work, that's another issue. But so many of us do our share and someone else's.
Not being the NY Times, or rather, not being a part of the elite propaganda cartel. Damn the Constitution....full prosecution speed ahead.
Seriously, and this is why I don't give a fuck about any laws anymore. Laws are there for you, not the elites. And the worst crime you can do in America, is to reveal the crimes of the elites to the masses.
Even the high profile Disney case, which was a blatant violation of the law, was simply dismissed by the judge. The argument, made by the judge was a ludicrous mis-interpretation. Oh, your jobs were harmed, but no jobs of the contracting firm were harmed. So no case....WTF.
Disney should of been fined $1 billion dollars for that violation.
I'd be happy to have been paid 50 cents for that post.

My home blood pressure meter was more consistent than most of the doctor measurements I have received.
Used to Bridgeport's one claim to fame. Now, amazingly, that icon is now gone.
Largely due to lack of innovation.

Apple will soon claim the HomePod to be prior art, and sue both the Amazon Echo and Google Home.

Hillary raised and spent nearly twice as much as Trump.
I fear we would be in a quasi-nominal war with Russia.
n, anti-war Republicans who were pulling for Bernie. And the DNC cheated him....
Double-yup...

Does not match that of many others....

Can we nuke Comcast?

This was a NO BRAINER. The only reason this wasn't initiated ages ago was due to all the backroom deals.
