I would like to have a morse key on my Phone. I can input text faster that way than by typing. And, I don't nee to look so I could do it while driving.

News flash. There is no threat to the USA or UK that justifies the spending on a carrier battle group - especially if you are broke. They are only soft targets for submarines anyway. The UK NHS is bad, but still much better than the US system where most of the money goes to insurance companies and lawyers. I am Australian who has lived in and liked both US and UK - neutral.

  4. Re:No surprise. on Pakistan Lets China View US Stealth Technology · · Score: 2

The article looks like pure speculation. There was no evidence that the Chinese actually saw any parts of the aircraft. The word "probably" features prominently before any statement of fact. This is simply very poor journalism, and perhaps an attempt to worsen USA/Pakistan relations. We need to know who is trying to manipulate us like this.

  5. Alternative options? on UK To Shut Down Social Networks? · · Score: 1

No one is saying that the social networks caused the unrest in London. The British are smarter than that. What they are saying is that they were used by the rioters to coordinate their attacks and to get around police defences. It is perfectly right and natural for the police and other agencies responsible for national security to want to disable those services when the rioting starts. If you don't like that for privacy reasons, fine, but provide alternative suggestions that address the privacy and safety problems for those who are being attacked. I would be happy for the police to have the power to collect all text messages at such times and to use them to prosecute those scumbags. That would soon stop the sites being used like that.
