* Insanely long battery life. I don't mean 'barely survive the flight from NWK to LAX'. I mean 'I'm only going to be in Tokyo for a week, so I won't need the AC adapter.'
This is the only place I can't help you, except to say that if you aren't using processor intensive tasks or the CD drive, you will get 5 hours (maybe more). Get a few extra batteries and an international adapter if you are going to Tokyo. (Don't they have the same power plugs there as here?)
Also, the adapter that comes with the newest iBooks is very compact and lightweight. Cord wraps around it easily.
IBM used to sell quad capacity lithum/ion battery's. But they cost a LOT! (sorry I don't have a link)
If you could ether use that or find something similar for the ibook, it'd work.
Do you really think there were NO secret conversations, off the record, to get Justice to back off?
There didn't need to be any.
Ashcroft Is a Republican appointed by bush, he didn't start this investigation. And as with any blue blooded republican, he knows when to stick to the party line.
Bush has gown on the record on this subject. There is no need for him to be pressured. He'll follow Bush's lead. Especially if it's not an investigation he personally cares for.
Finally, Bush previously had replaced many of the procurers with less experienced ones, (hadn't handled a breakup or supreme court case before(Not that there are many of those...)) Does anyone have a link on this story?
So basically the breakup was dead as soon as bush took office. The only question was how long it would take.
Just don't plug it in to your phone jack. Plus you cam make a cool Linux box.
Yes, I don't own one but I've herd this a couple of times (on good account)...
Well there's the Microsoft Ideal right there...
OK maybe
"If you can't control it, destroy it..."
But, really this whole thing is dumb. Can't people just use a product Id, then figure out the price internally?
There is one reason I prefer:
your not giving money to Microsoft!
But, aside from this the prosessor is a lot more effentient (more than 2x average) of corse that can vary a lot depending on what you are doing... (so a 500mhz mac still compeats, not to mention in a laptop!)
Given the individual hardware is more expensive, sometimes a lot.
I'm not a Mac user but I soon hope to get a g4 for linux... Mmmmmm.....
Check out the Indrema, It probably wouldn't be incredbly to put the necary parts of DV linux on a disk and play Indrama stuff on the PC or vice versa...
Here is my question: Why Bother with a tax cut at all?
I say, why not take the money in and spend it on public works... Of course, I favor education as I am a student. But any sort of public work (That
includes scholarships to college, public schools, medicare, science advancement, roads, military etc.) will benefit people more than simply giving it to them to spend, as that only benefits the business that profit from it, (and in turn the economy) (Don't get me wrong: I don't think the role of government is to dictate how people spend their money.) But it is important to build such infrastructure and tax appropriately as needed. The economy is doing great now, so we can afford to reinvest in such things, and keep a good thing going.
PS. I don't want to hear any of that "You can spend your money better than the government can" B___S___.
And to all the other candidates I hope the media gives you more press as I would wish to hear of more competition...
My comments: (Note: this is my only opinion) as noted above I said college scholarships I count these as a public work as they promote education and in turn benefit society as a whole. (This is why I don't consider this (small?) part of al gore's plan to be a tax brake per say.)
My Flamebit: (Note: this is my only opinion)
Al gore states he will Have a targeted tax brake for couples, families, money for colleges as noted above, and the working poor.
Bush says Al's plan misses the target as 50 million americans don't benefit.
I'm going to assume both of these statements are true, as I have herd no corrections.
Now, first off if everyone benefits It's not a targeted tax cut!!!
Next, 50 million americans is 1/6th of the population!
Now, I'm making the brazing assumption that that is the most wealthy 1/6th as that would make the most since based on gore's claims.
So, we can conclude that AL doesn't know how to make a targeted tax cut as 5/6ths is hardly a target.
And that Bush doesn't know the meaning of "targeted"!
PPS. Pleas forgive any errors I have made in this post. And (I know I'll be flamed for this but...) Moral character/Charisma is worth nothing to me in a leader!

Why Bother with trying to use different fingers.
Why not just do it by how long you hold it in.
IE: I push "1" it shows 'A' but I keep holding it in for a sec and it becomes 'b' etc.
Of course you'd have to have a speed adjust but it is much more natural and a lot easier to implement.

So remember everyone to get the right number when you mail (don't use e-mail, it won't REALY be read) your congressmen...
