There have been cases of cows infected in the US (and I think Australia, not sure), and people infected in the US and Australia, but I think all the people who were in the US and Australia had eaten British, or European beef at some point, so that is the assumed mode of infection.
I suppose it's possible they could have been infected by US beef, but it would be a coincidence if they had, after eating British/European beef.
I absolutely would rather die from blood loss than get sucked into this "gay lifestyle" where dying of GRID is a normal life stage. If I were to get blood, the only thing keeping me from getting GRID would be the honors system. Fuck that noise.
I'm a little confused by this, why would you have to get AIDS if you received blood? You would get it from the blood banks like everyone else, which, hopefully, is AIDS free.
Personally, I don't think you shouldt shoot yourself in the foot and not accept blood just because the system is biased against you. That's not going to change their system or right any wrong, you would just suffer a needless death.
America banned British blood too. Red cross in the US won't touch my blood with a 39.5 foot pole.
Which really sucks because I do want to donate blood, and not just because my company gives time-off to people who donate (and we have a very stingy time off policy otherwise- and I can't take part in this).
I wonder if this test will lead to me being able to donate blood in the future.
"Long story short, we're currently melting the wall that's helped stop the seas boiling for all of these years."
Yes, that bullshit is what passes for "science" on Slashdot these days.
I, for one, am looking forwards to going to the ocean and being able to cook pasta in the ocean.
I appreciate the message of the submitter, but he perhaps should have been careful not to over exaggerate. I don't expect any of my descendants for the next umpteen generations to witness "boiling seas on earth". Perhaps it will happen one day, but even climate change models of the most extreme don't predict that, and we would need to all live in protective habitats long before that. We can't tolerate temperatures anywhere near 100C for long.
I refuse to buy any in-app purchases because I see them as a scam. I also don't like "subscription model" payments. Always end up paying more.
Spotify? F. You. I would rather buy albums I like and own them forever and play them whenever, not keep paying money to the same company every month. (or use Pandora)
Games. I'll buy a $20 game but I won't play a free game that has in-app purchases... at all.
I'm not even 40 and I have two TVs in the house that a "set-top" box could sit on top of. One I received in college, the other I bought myself shortly after. Neither are my main TV anymore because they aren't 1080, but they are still in good condition and use. About 15 years old tops.
My heart says... go get that bastard who did this.
My head says... that's a violation of privacy expectations. No one expects their details to be released to other users of the system. In this case it was perhaps justified, but if they open the door there will be other requests for private information, some less just.
That was actually a typo on my part, I had intended to write "tanking stock price is an oversight". Their stock will bounce back. One bad game that they make a profit off of will not hurt their long term viability.
The game doesn't have to be good or even be a massive seller.
A single button jumping game can't have been too expensive to produce- they probably have most of the sprites made from other projects, the music they do. They probably don't have to make a huge number of sales at $10 each to make a profit out of this game.
Nintendo's tanking profits are a bit of an oversight. The game may be bad and poorly reviewed, but they probably made (or will make) profit out of it.
The only real downside to Nintendo is the hit to their reputation, but they can probably take a few hits.
What about masturbating with the family?
I think "masturbate with the family simulator" is already a game on steam.

Unless he is "the Audrey 2" (which he can't be because he's Vegan and Audrey 2 ate blood), I don't think he would have an opinion if he were a plant.
That's why I try avoid eating Vegans.

I work different to most people then.

As Cheap as the game probably was to produce due to its simplicity- they probably don't have to get many people shelling out $10 to make a profit.
The only problem is, when robots and AI replace workers- how will people earn money.
It will be fine for those that OWN the companies that runs the robots and AI, but what about those who don't.
Are you Melania Trump? You just plagiarized Yoda!
“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” – Yoda
That oughta make America great again. Coal and repetitive industry production line jobs.

The information about the aggressor should go to the police, not the victim. I'm all for that. I have a problem with it going to the victim.
For someone.

I would consider no night life a positive!
Indeed, AC.
I never lost my sanity.
Imagine what they would lose if they had to face the same regulation and oversight as everybody else in the Taxi industry.
Florida has hurricanes, we might have forgot that after a decade of low hurricane activity, but it can get hit by two or three a year in bad years.
Florida also has sink holes- huge holes appearing in the ground sucking in everything above it.
Florida and California are probably equal in terms of nature being an enemy at times.
That's partially why West Virginia isn't considered part of new England. (geography being the other reason)
I don't think Nintendo were hoping for pirates.
A Nigerian man caught hacking?
He must be Russian.
