You'd probably like Key The Metal Idol, then. Originally aired as 13 30 minute episodes, and 2 90 minute movies. Every episode is a continuation of the previous.
I should look before I open my yap - The International Channel is available on digital cable here, a few channels away from the PPV channels, in with the weather and news. That's probably why I never noticed it.
I'm pretty sure PBS's airings are regional - I've never seen anime on PBS, but I also rarely watch it.
International channel? Like many, I've never heard of it. Unlike many, I work for the cable company here, and I'm pretty sure while browsing through our channel lineup, I would have noticed it.
What kind of crack rock did YOU just take a hit off of before posting this drivel?
I personally didn't pick out any modifications. I've heard the word bitch several times, only one or two words dropped, I've yet to see a scene edited out, and I certainly haven't noticed any "butchering".
All said, I'm amazed at what they've had the balls to show.
A not so quiet reader and former Dell Dimension Product Specialist posting to say that what the Anonymous Coward I'm replying to says is true. We replaced motherboards killed by Palm Vs constantly. The fact Dell replaced these things leads me to believe it's the MB's fault, not the Palms.
I doubt he wants alternative PDF WRITERS

But rather alternatives to PDF.
How about good, old-fashioned HTML+images? Or another idea is one of the more liberal eBook formats I suppose. The main point of this post is to point out the poster doesn't seem to want to have any pdfs, not just use an alternative method of writing them:P
Although I'd like to point out that we're troublecall monkeys not because we don't know what we're doing, but rather because we're not allowed to do jack shit beyond that. DHCP error? Trouble call. No sync? Trouble call (although there's not much more I'm aware of that can be done for this). TCP/IP stack hosed? No, no registry editing or manual rebuild of the stack here. Trouble call.
And only 10% of the calls I take a day are trouble calls. The rest are dipshits who don't understand the pop3 server is pop3.lvcm.com, and the smtp server is smtp.lvcm.com
Just got done reading a story about how you can modify equipment laying around to do what you want, and have the urge to do it yourself? Well, come on down to TechsPlanet.com, where we will sell you the same stuff, done "right", for signifigantly more than it would cost for you to do it yourself. And for a limited time, we'll even throw in a free Slashdot subscription with every purchase! Be the first troll on your block with a wireless LAN and a Slashdot UID over 400,000!
The eye can detect above 120, depending on the person. My threshold is around 80 or so, anything above that adds little to the gameplay, other than the framerate is less likely to dip below what I notice.
What makes 24-30fps acceptable in film and TV is motion bluring. Search the archvies for the arguments, as I don't feel like getting into it again.
When the guy on the phone told me that if I was threatening a lawsuit that he would hang up, I said "Nope...you won't be dealing with my lawyer, you'll be dealing with Fremont city council's..." Needless to say, problem solved rather quickly...
I GUARANTEE your threat didn't get you any further than if you had just attempted to resolve the issue without trying to drop names.
TiVo is standalone, subscription optional (although 2.0.1 did remove functionality, but you won't be getting that first call anyway, I don't think. Unless they're shipping with 2.x now...).
Actually it's up to 10 statics:) (although most packages come with 4), and not only will they do reverse DNS, but for a monthly fee they'll host primary and secondary, or for a onetime fee, they'll host just secondary DNS for you.
So you decided "Hey, I could get a cable modem, but I don't get to pick the purdy blue one, so fuck y'all"?
You had the ability to get cable. You just had to use their modem for awhile. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see an issue.

Hrm. I may have to get digital cable then.

Er. His is only slightly higher than mine (2430). Maybe you were looking at the post number (to the right of the date)
And I suggest that you read the posts you're replying to before spouting off.
Especially the part about [b]@Home[b], which the parent post was about.
But not nearly as amusing as watching their counter skyrocket :) They're up to 277 or so hits since this was posted.
Personally, when trying to remain gender neutral (very rare for me, I dislike the PC crap), I use "their".
With a.. You know.. Video player?
XMMS handles DivX files just fine with the proper plugins.

Well, actually it's $11/hour, but yeah. Heh.
-sigh- The "tech industry" in Las Vegas sucks.

Figures.

I'm guessing you make a comission, and you have access to the web server's referrer logs?
You forgot to have a referal link to something as a sig.

I have never, ever seen the option "Attempt to reach DHCP server? (Will timeout after 60 seconds) [Y/N]: "
Nor have I seen the option
"Load video drivers? [Y/N]"
"Load mouse drivers? [Y/N]"
"Load Aureal Vortex Wave Device? [Y/N]"
"Load VIA UDMA ATA/100 drivers? [Y/N]"
"Load VFW Interface for ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder? [Y/N]"
-sigh-

And then there are the "lucky" ones with unidirectional cable service. 1.5mbps down, 28.8kbps up over a phoneline.

Heh. I remember when Slashdot was unreachable if prefixed with www.
slashdot.org is 12 characters. www. brings it to 16. 64.28.67.150 is 12 characters. Which is easier to remember, Slashdot.org or 64.28.67.150?
And hell, I find slashdot.org a lot easier to type than 64.28.67.150.

Well, that explains some things about MS software... Speech for the deaf, enhanced fonts for the blind? :)
As do I. O Holy One, please have mercy on his soul. Or some such.
Interesting definition of pornography, by the way. Get bitten by a goatse.cx troll again?
