..aside from the glare reducers, 'plain' screen shields, screen magnifiers, lights (both marketed for GBA and actually designed for GBA -- the GBA using less power for the bulb and requiring a better one), stickers (which could be good for the white system which is damn bright in the sun, seriously so), hand grips, and joystick extensions available, (try www.liksang.com) there are also a few other things going on with GBA that are technologically impressive for its so recent of a release date.
There is a lot of homebrew and open source GBA development going on, which aside from the emulators is aided by the '64mbit Advance Flash card and Advance linker'. It connects to the PC Parallel port and transfers ROM images to its somewhat small 8MB memory. GBA supports 256MB or even larger per cart (bankswitching baby) so a larger card is necessary, but try www.visoly.com for obtaining one and there are also a few good links to the development stuff going on there.
Additionally, I would like to add I and many other GBA enthusiasts would pay damn good money for a better system. I would prefer one that is very small, and uses a passthrough to a genuine GBA cart for backing up [ahem] savegames as well as passing through any potential lockout chips, and also contains a PC Card type 2 slot supporting both SmartMedia and Compact Flash via adapters cards. Or just support one or the other, just make it please!;-P

Using the link cable four players can play Mario Kart Advance, FZero Advance, or Mario Advance in 2, 3, or 4 player modes with just one cartridge. This is a great feature (although its not new; the Atari Lynx supported this feature long ago!)
This thing supposedly isn't vaporware as it was evidentally shown at Booth 626 at the Consumer Electronics Show in January according to this article, which also talks about the paper cell phone previously covered on slashdot. Anyone played with one of these wearables or catch a price?
true but this could be expanded by compact flash slot and usb

If you think the internet was created for the good of society, you are gravely mistaken. It was created to give the USA an advantage in Thermonuclear War. If you don't believe me, try looking in your history book for DARPANET.....
Aren't those bastards just getting you to perfect it for them for free? I mean, the process and information and results must all be confidential and the RIAA gets your end product to keep and anylze. Sounds like they just want to see what kind of security holes there are in it and patch them before implementing it...
Haha, maybe they would do better if they were like Microsoft and Apple, but instead of charging to beta-test their software, they could charge you to enter their 'contest' and help them create a completely secure SDMI!
.....I mean win $$BIG BUCK$$$ and get to be in with the Rock-Stars !!! ;P
results in the starving children that this 'parody' neglects to consider. While the website is obviously not directly the cause, sitting around laughing your ass off instead of making a difference through political action -- be it as simple as a phone call or email to your representative -- IS somewhat to blame.
Then again, you probobly don't even care, but you sure would if you were so hungry you wouldn't have the energy to chew if someone brought you food.
scratch that idea of it seated nicely in a landed capsule, they plan to hit 'paydirt' quite literally.
