A totally misleading topic, which caught my attention, after which i soon realized this is a concept, a design. Its not even a project in production...
this is just another article to riled up the masses. I guess with the same anology we can say that we don't need a military, a police force, or even a judicial system!
I recommend MythDora, from the web site http://g-ding.tv/ : "MythDora is a Fedora Core and MythTV "All-In-One" CD. The CD will load a preconfigured Fedora Core 4 installation on your computer as well as install and configure MythTV-0.19"
...something is bothering you when it pops up everywhere you turn. The public needs to be more aware of the lasting implications of the DMCA. It should be a household word. Last evening i was flipping through the channels and it happened to stop on "Wheel-Of-Fortune", it was time for the prize puzzle, 3 consonants and one vowel. The lady choose D-M-C-A. She solved the puzzle and i don't even remember what it was. All i remember was her choice of letters. It stuck in my head. If this keeps up the future will not belong to us, but to corporations and those that govern. My 2 cents.
from the changelog, take a look at the second to last option

Or it could be that they see it as a possible means of revenue being that Open Source Development is the future.
"...how will anyone get paid when only IBM can do it?"
simply, by licensing the technology from IBM to pay developers.
