Those things are just marketing fluff! I'd like you to enter a complex sentence, a program fragment or even do anything you do today without a keyboard! Oh, yes, you can. It only takes 10x times to accomplish the task! And it'll be nice see all those persons in public wving the hands and talking loud with their portable 3D computers. Privacy!
My favorite is to use SSH remote port forwarding (-R) to allow my machines to connect back home from an unknown (and possibly changing) IP and then allow me to ssh back to them. And key authentication all the way along! And, by the way, SSH tunneling is not TCP port forwarding!

I think it's time to think about repository for strategic software, like Linux, GCC and so on. Such a hacking can compromise a large part of the internet. Because someone can introduce backdoors, the nasty ones I mean, so deep to evade any check.
As it's not belonging to "web companies" (Microsoft, Apple, Google) its "anonymous navigation" is likely to actually do the expected/claimed work. And possibly stop surfing while logged into your 10+ websites. If you are logged out, there's much less information about you thay can track!
The new do-not-track button isn't going to stop all Web tracking. The companies have agreed to stop using the data about people's Web browsing habits to customize ads, and have agreed not to use the data for employment, credit, health-care or insurance purposes.

But this time the machine to crash won't be your PC.
You got it right. That was my goal and I got it.
