    As long as the corners are different, right, left, hairpin, fast sweeper etc. Oval track racing is just as boring as watching cars go in a straight line.

    That is why I watch F1, and sportscars races, it would be nice to see more touring cars races from Europe, or Oz too.

    Require all new cars to have computer controled throttle limiters, with built in GPS. THe computer knows when you are driving in a 30mph zone, and limits the speed to 30mph.
      Later on you can require older vehicles to be retrofitted with the device.

    I'm guessing that this telescope in Chile only looks at the southern part of the sky. Does this mean that 90% of the universe is not visible to northern hemisphere telescopes?

    In the literal sense, light aircraft not equiped with GPS, (Drug or people smugglers), and of course aircraft that have been hijacked and their transponders disabled.

    Or some kid in a baloon (hoax or not, its probably not going to do an engine any good if it sucks it in...

    And if the pilots are too busy playing with their laptops to even look out of the window...

    It doesnt sound safe to me, especially in a post 911 world.
