    But CO2 is toxic to humans (volcanos have killed entire villages with CO2 clouds) and theres the greenhouse problem, which we are now feeling the effects of. We don't need more C02 in the atmosphere.

    A fuel cell is pretty good at converting chemical energy into electrity directly.

    Of course they work best on Hydrogen, but we need to stop burning carbon anyway.

    Tunguska wasn't an extinction level event. Of course if it had happened above your local bank, you would probably be vaporised as well, and not worried about your ID

    I already use Seamonkey, as my 2nd browser (for example to do online banking, which I would like to keep separate from my normal browsing activities. (Also an earlier version of a Firefox upgrade (like 20 something versions ago) broke when trying to access that bank site.)

    I think the UI dev team at Mozilla should be retasked, to something like testing the lethal injection drugs used for executions.

    Is there some option you can set to un-grey them. Can we change the background color of those tabs to make them sorta visible?
    (I mean its not like we are running out of colors or anything on a 32bit screen)

    So Until they get fully automated cars, the states should require that all cars and trucks have a 'crew' of 2.

    If by " something like WWI or WWII," you mean Germany attacking France then it has prevented that, However WWI and WWII also involved other countries and theatres or war, and the EU hasn't stopped a lot of those other conflicts which could spread into a wider war.

    Americans are not knowledgeable about their history, but most do know they lost the war between the States. 1861-65. Of course if you are fighting yourselves it is impossible to win.

    I thought the objectives of the British were to reconquer the colonies. They didn't achieve that.

    Maybe some of those events were earthquakes. I find it hard to believe that their were 26 major impacts that we didn't know about. 600KT is hard to miss even if it is in a remote area.
