    Damn Small Linux -> Puppy -> OpenSUSE -> Fedora -> Mint -> Ubuntu I had to start with lightweights as I was working with a really ancient computer (11 years old at the time!)

    I wish I could agree with you, but from what I can tell, Gaben has stalled developing the Linux port in favor of making hardware.

    I didn't even get my first computer until I was 12. Like someone else already said, an account on a family machine is what's best at the moment.

    If Office was available on Linux, I'd be perfectly happy on Linux.
