I wish I could agree with you, but from what I can tell, Gaben has stalled developing the Linux port in favor of making hardware.
I didn't even get my first computer until I was 12. Like someone else already said, an account on a family machine is what's best at the moment.
But they fixed GNOME3, it's working fine now
If Office was available on Linux, I'd be perfectly happy on Linux.
