Dang it, that is a good argument. (I have no windows near either of my desks though, sadface)
I would not pay for ad-free. Honestly, I did not even know that Youtube HAD ads built into the videos until recently. An Adblock-less friend was showing me a video at his house, and the ad started playing. It was one of the most confusing moments of my adult life.
Me: What? This video sucks, it just looks like an ad for some new crappy movie
Him: ??? It IS an ad for some crappy movie
Me: Then why are we watching it? *Actual video clip starts playing*
Me: Wait, what was that before, was there a video before your video? Why? What is happening? Was that an ad? Why is there an ad on your Youtube? How long has this been happening? Is this new?
Him: Um, no, it has always been like that. *World crashes in around me*
Exactly, if I ever had a hard time finding a no-cd crack, I would just image the disc, and virtually mount it. The problem came when the DRM started detecting virtually mounted drives, so then I had to download a virtual drive cloaker. It was like those movies where the policeman chases the robber through a series of doors that are magically linked.
Ooh, no wait, it is like Inception, or something.
I do not recall a time when I did NOT download a no-cd cracked version of a purchased game. I eventually got tired of it though, I really only buy games from Humble Bundle just so I can avoid the whole mess.
I would agree, except that ads before you watch at Youtube video are not noise. You cannot block it out or ignore it, it is there, preventing you from seeing what you want until it is done showing you what it wants to.
Sounds good, except that they are getting more money, not less money. Apple does not appear to be shriveling up at all, but instead, growing. Maybe I misunderstood your phrasing, but I (and TFA) disagree with the end of your sentence.
I got really excited, I thought you were talking about some kind of crazy new connector that uses DNA to transfer the data at incredible speeds. I got really mixed up trying to convert ~650 bases/hour at 1 cent per base into MB/s.
Indeed, I thought the same, but it is as you say. The picture is of the back of the unit, the home button bends up and away from the perspective of the viewer.
Apple, you look like a fool using a proprietary connector
I wish I could give you some kind of award for saying what I want to tell all my coworkers. They all swear by Apple and their precious iPhones. In the last couple of years, the only connectors I have seen on a non iPhone have been Micro USB. I just wish Apple would stop grabbing for money and go with the flow, I feel like the planets would align if the entire phone industry agreed on a single connector to power every single device... But noooooo, the tech giant Apple still somehow wants more money than they already have? It nearly sickens me.
Ugh, I know right? I miss the good old days when a demo was a 30-day trial, with every feature intact.
Right when dual core processors came out I built a PC with the most expensive processor I could find. Most games would not even recognize the second processor and have tremendous difficulty running. After the FIRST time that happened, I switched to downloading the game first, just to see if it could even operate on my machine. It probably saved me from buying hundreds upon hundreds of dollars of incompatible games.
"Outlook isn't on my desktop, so it must not be installed"
You know, that actually never occurred to me. End users make so much more sense now.
At no point in time did I ever think that they do not know how to use the start menu to find a program that has been installed. I guess I just automatically assumed that if you have windows, you know how to launch a program from the start menu. I never would have thought that the end user did not have that basic knowledge.
That would be like learning how to run, but only when facing North, if you are facing East, South, or West, you have to walk. Which is absurd. Why are people so untrained?!
Maybe I need to study the human psyche more before I continue with this post.
Playing what your opponent played last turn. Playing the move that would lose to what your opponent played last turn. Playing the move that would win against what your opponent played last turn. Playing what you yourself played last turn. Playing the move that would lose to what you played last turn. Playing the move that would win against what you played last turn.
???
So if you threw rock last time, my next move should be to either throw rock, scissors, or paper?
And if I threw paper last time, my next move should be to either throw paper, rock, or scissors?
Maybe I am new to this whole thing, but that does not seem like much of a strategy.
I got in trouble for cracking a weak wireless signal. I found the office responsible and notified them how it was very unsecure, even I could hack into it! They were not happy.
I would agree with you on this, but whenever I signal for a right turn, sometimes my pinky slips barely off the back of the stalk, turning the lights on, or at least flashing the brights. Though it could just be a fault in my motor skills, because this has been an issue in multiple vehicles.
Either way, it has not ever been a big enough issue for me to complain about it, I realize that I may be at fault, so I do not even mention it when I do it, nor do I try to find blame in someone.. GP is a little crazy methinks.
Indeed, they are mixing up Google Voice and the "Google Voice Actions" (As my phone calls it), Google Voice only does Speech-To-Text solely for the transcription of voicemails, and "Google Voice Actions" is used to input voice commands. "Google Voice Actions" is basically Siri for Android.
What you suggested in a previous post:
it will make your voice transcription more accurate.
This is entirely accurate, it simply helps your phone know what you are speaking. I (Apparently) have some kind of accent, which makes it difficult for voice commands to work correctly (or speak-through menu systems when I call customer service lines), training your phone to know your voice just makes it easier to use.

Then you have very unique tastes.

Uninhabitable by what? Humans?
I forget what we are looking for, was it alien life, or a place for us to move when we get too crowded?

This does not account for all the new iPhone 5 chargers and accessories that will be selling in the near future.

Baahaha! Good advice for getting rid of pesky family members posted by something that looks like a spam-bot. Nice.
there is no such thing as a good demo anymore.

I have like 50 tons of the stuff... I just have to find a way to un-digitize it.

Sounds like you bank with Chase.

Hehehe... I thought that at first. It was not until I read your "Oh wait" that I got why it would defeat the purpose.
You got modded up as funny. But I think you are serious, and I actually believe that this is how they are doing things.
Well, this is the most logical thing I have seen, it makes sense if you think about it.
Pig Latin
It works fantastically, and is super awesome.

I freaked out, it made me sad. On the other hand, I guess me clicking through to the article got them a little revenue, so there is that.
