I am peeved to no end that the government attaches so many strings (Trackability) to the services/priveleges it provides (Roads). The government should serve the people in a nearly transparent manner. We already sacrifice income taxes to pay for those services. At what point does a service or privelege become a right? I'm seriously wondering. Must I retreat to a 19th century standard of living to maintain my privacy?
There is a mailto:lnxteam in there. Send a mail to lnxteam@microsoft.com, see if it bounces. It doesn't necesarily mean the email is real, but it will debunk it if it's not.
A look at k-tech's still image compression shows them touting the advantages of their image format over jpegs. With jpegs of what both formats look like. They aren't the best marketers.
Of course one would need to be in a fairly quiet setting to be able to hear and be heard via a phone that is being held at arms length pointed at the user. Otherwise the caller would just see a picture of somebody's ear canal the whole time.
Just write "clone of RH x.x". Or "Burned from RH iso". Just so long as you don't imply RH condones your copy there's no reasonable reason RH could fault you.
Seems your primary software providers might be able to offer some recommendations which should carry a bit more weight than what us weenies on Slashdot think.
Say they'll be dual boot or some similar hooey to get the ip's and whatever else you may need to connect these computers. If you get yelled at later, say you couldn't get the windows partition to work well, so you deleted it.
I don't have.iso's to test this on, but in cygwin mount so far looks just like I'd excpect. This may only mount your iso's in the cygwin directory structure though, in which case you'd need to run samba or something like that in cygwin. Samba on windows! Ha! That'd suck if that's the best solution. . .
Yes, but the original phrasing said something to the effect of "What will you do to prevent Microsoft from having multiple monopolies?" My point being, they may have multiple monopolies as long as they don't abuse said monopolies, which is not to say they have never done so.
Not only that, but my AIW (I don't know about the ATI-TV) has s-video in, for that slight gain in picture quality (And it comes with many useful cables for every possible type of input:).
Or go the other route, put your Computer into a TV. A quick stop at Best Buy should yield a few if not several alternatives for the option.
I didn't realize there even were video game ratings when doom came out. Was Doom really rated mature for the PC? Maybe they meant to say Doom 2, or "we assume it was rated M." I guess the BFG put it over the edge . . .
IMO, imacs are cool because of the translucent plastic that lets you see the inside of the CRTs. A flat panel would just be like any thin PC spray painted fruity.
Anybody who doesn't want the sound affected by the basic 1/8" cable just uses low-z mic cables anyways. Plenty of (acoustic) guitars are available which have mic-type outputs built in (washburn, for one).
. . . and they won't be blind by the time they're 19 years old (unless you've got LCDs).
Seriously, get your kid to run around and play a lot, before she/he turns into a fat fourth grader (those kids are often ostrascized). Introduce computers and qbasic around eight or ten after they've begun to appreciate the real world first.
Why not add in the ability to use subdirectories of dirs in the path variable. I propose use of \+ or something similar at the end of a directory entry to indicate subdirectories should be searched too.
Personally I think enumerations are for readability only (that said I've written 20x more Java than C++). I don't believe they offer enough extra readability to change the learning curve that much. I did not say it was an advantage or disadvantage.
foo.size++ using get/set is pretty nifty tho', but since there's no performance advantage I don't see it as an advantage.

Are they gonna update OSX so the display could be easily rotated 90 deg. for long web pages and the like? That'd be cool.

(IMO SGI forever)

(IANAL) It's not illegal to have a monopoly in more than one market, just to use a monopoly in one market to gain a monopoly in another market.

It's quite possible that they were the submittors, the submittor doesn't even exist on slashdot.
Use client executed Javascript to generate the link. Then you're not linking to their page, the people browsing your site are linking to their page.
The page says datarate as low as 200kb, but what's the average datarate and what's the worst case scenario datarate?
a tad OT, but: Text search for GUENTER NIMTZ on http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/transcripts/2612time. html
Similar, but not the same . . .

15 to 1 says it's got some sort of water cooling.
The patent. This reads as if it's only the interface they're patenting IMHO.
Best line:
13. The method as recited by claim 10 wherein the default channel is CNN Headline News.
The link is unclear, but it appears to only affect DVRs, not PCs . . . I couldn't find it easily on uspto.gov either.
