I assumed that a significant number of passengers who were near the back of the line weren't planning on opting-out. Besides, no matter what kind of security they make people go through, people should not have to show up more than two hours before a flight. Two hours is already ridiculous enough.
I have a friend who forgot she had a pair of large scissors in her art supplies box in her bag. The TSA missed them. As her bag went through the scanner, they even laughed at her expense when they saw her myriad of junk and huge wad of keys that was sitting on top of the box. Is that all it takes? A wad of keys?
Actually, I think those petitions will probably be beneficial in the long run. As people start waking up, they will realize they are being blatantly ignored. Anger usually leads to passion. Passion usually leads to action.
Shush! A lot of stupid people spend a huge chunk of their salaries on lottery tickets because they think they are going to win the lottery. We don't need them voting to keep the TSA around.
I would only be ok with it if it was privatized AND the airlines had the option to have as little or as much security as they deemed necessary. In other words, customers could go to the airlines that cater most to their desires.
All the OS creators really need to get together and create a freely available specification for this kind of thing so that these types of APIs are not platform dependent.
The people who do drugs chose to do drugs. It is not like we haven't made damn sure that every person in the United States knows that partaking in drugs is stupid. They are not acting in ignorance. They have been warned. If people want to be stupid, let them be stupid. It is their life. They aren't hurting anyone else. If legal, at least all the violent drug lords will go out of business. Also, we would be saving a crap-ton of tax dollars. Of course, that last bit assumes we don't make the government responsible for our healthcare.
Does the developer have to submit it for vote or is Value going to be proactive in putting games up to vote? I know the developer has to actually make arrangements for the game to actually be sold but I don't see why they need to be included in the vote. I think such a system could actually encourage developers to sell their games on steam when they might not otherwise do so. If they know they are highly sought and already have a huge customer base on Steam, why wouldn't they put their games on Steam?
I would argue that any society that expects to remain civil requires guns.
In CC states, what percentage of business have a no guns policy and what percentage of those business will allow you to check a gun at the door?

Not cool man.
You are almost guaranteed to be legally safe in Oregon. You are not in other states.
Except you have to live in Oregon.

One good thing does not outweigh the overly massive amount of bad Obama has brought to the table.

I think the airlines would likely have a whole plethora of lawsuits on their hands if they did that.

While I agree that DNA sequences shouldn't be patentable, I think they want to protect research dollars that go into discovering which genes do what.

I think you are missing the K in hex. You the closest you get is 0xB16D1C5.
Just curious. Are they still more efficient when you account for the loss of energy during the conversion processes (gasoline -> electric -> kinetic)?
Just use a VPN.
I actually have thought about buying a few copies before they become hard to find.
He weren't broke during WWII and the Civil War was not about slavery.

50% is not 100%. I know many happily married couples.
Grandparents.
You haven't gotten around much, have you?
Maybe he was commenting ironically?
