Perhaps because the helicopters are manned and the drones aren't. Sure you can argue someone is piloting the drone but your accuser still wasn't present when you did whatever it was you are accused of doing was did.
While his age is never mentioned it is a widely accepted belief he was at least thirty when he began to preach as this was a requirement for a priest of the order of Melchizedek. His ministry spanned three years before he was crucified making him at least thirty-three at his Crucifixion.
I found the symbolism of the movie - particularly the church scene with the image of Christ in Gethsemane in the background, a bit heavy handed.

I didn't even pick up on that but my step-son did catch the not-so-subtle inference when we learn he is the same age Jesus was when he was crucified.
And he was sent to earth by his father to "save" the human race.

The latest thing I have noticed is the freezer cabinets are getting LED lighting and motion sensors. The kids (I am much too mature) run up and down the isles waving their hands to turn on the lights.
It all makes sense now! I had written off the prior thread about The Doctor Cat as pure drivel but now I am convinced the next Doctor will be Daniel "Danny" John-Jules!
The automobile replaced the horse drawn carriage because it was more efficient and eventually faster than said carriage. People gradually started relying more on the auto than the horse and the market tipped. Electronic voting machines aren't any faster and they have not proven to be any more efficient. The only real benefit is the instantaneous vote count but as others have pointed out that functionality could have been easily bolted on to existing machines?
If a device has a visual interface it has pr0n. I was working on a Compaq luggable (A Portable II I believe) in the late 80's and I was looking for a file when I noticed another file I didn't recognize. Being the cautious person I am I immediately opened it of course. I was greeted with a green phosphorous rendering of the predecessor to the animated GIF of a guy "servicing" the farmer's daughter. I was impressed, disgusted, and enthralled all at the same time.
asking a pitcher to modify the very object used in the game was not allowed by any stretch of the imagination.
But it is still not "illegal". Taking steroids isn't illegal either. They are banned by many professional sports. The fines and penalties imposed are by the organizations that govern their respective sports.
I never said I hadn't met a lawyer who used their power for good. Even the good ones employ devious tactics at some point. Kind of a nature of the beast thing. I also don't doubt there are lawyers who do not use said tactics but their numbers are statistically insignificant.
So the guy has an ethical dilemma with an out pitch but not with becoming an attorney? I have yet to meet an attorney that didn't employ at least a few ethically questionable tactics.

If Microsoft was smart about it they'd give Maddog a call and see if he would like some thin clients for his new high rise servers.
So you were being facetious? You really didn't care that it was, indeed, possible.
I don't disagree with you but it is possible and if it this or nothing then I'd take this.
yes it can
The concept in principle seems interesting, but are there modern examples of successful deployments of this kind?
OnLive?
Some would say it isn't successful but their issues were arguably more to do with Steve Perlman than the product itself.
Why wouldn't it be taxed? There is no "on a computer" exemption to rules that we pay taxes on profitable activities...
So if you never make a profit you should be good.
It's OK that you didn't know. No need to get defensive.

I'm saying EA and Microsoft are two sides of the same coin.
You do know Peter Moore ( COO of EA ) is from Microsoft...right?
I actually wish that is what it WAS for. The "I'm bored with the interwebs...Ooo! What does this do?" button.
The library would probably be better if you have no idea what you're interested in, and want to find something completely random and new..
Isn't that what the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button is for?
So, Steve Jobs gives us the NeXT CUBE and Cook and Co. give us the Mac Pro CyLINDER.

Could you play a NES game on SNES?
