Because in a few cases this has happened to me (with OpenOffice of course) but I don't remember a case that a document I created using word could not be opened with word. I edit very large documents (several hundred pages most of the time).

    Pros:

    - Battery life of e book readers is hugely better (weeks long of reading?) and that's a huge parameter for me. I have a cheap tablet which lasts 6 hours of reading but almost always when reading books something is bothering my mind. I am always worried that the battery will finish soon and i must read or attach it to the power abruptly. When reading with one of those readers, the battery life does not bother you.

    - The screen of the new e readers (true white) has a better contrast and more similar to book experience.

    - E book reader are lighter of course.

    Cons:

    - Horrible user interface (due to the limitations of e paper?)

    - Horrible PDF readers which do not offer an experience comparable to good pdf readers on Android or a PC.

    - Small screen size forces you to pan, zoom in and out...

    - Reading penthouse, play boy etc. does not work on them :)

    Exactly.

The presence in Afghanistan (the western neighbor of China), south east Asia and Japan is mostly to contain China.

In the few past decades US and West tried to surround USSR (Western Europe, Scandinavia, Turkey and then Islamic ideologies in Afghanistan and Iran). In my opinion the Islamic revolution in Iran (providing media access to Khomeini including full-time BBC coverage of his speech, providing support and an Air France plane to return to Iran, ...) and the long war in Afghanistan against USSR by Taliban (used to be supported by US) were part of this same plan. The only thing is they went out of control. However, as Kissinger mentioned, you should see the overall picture of what is gained and what is lost. The USSR was brought down and a few Islamic states have gained power.

Now the history repeats about China. West and US have obviously started to contain China.

    - Iran has access to new Russian jet engines (RD-33 and many other types), American engines (TF-30 turbofan, J79 and J85 turbojets etc.) and french Snecma 9R-50. Also according Jane's defense a Venezuelan F-16 was transferred to Iran for research. They already have 2 F16-A engines in hand.

    - Iran produces localized J-85 engines (for their F5 derived Saeghe fighters) and possibly limited number of TF-30 (for their 30 years old but still operational! fleet). They would most probably consider one of those engines for industrial production (as they have 40-45 years of experience with them).

This is a "partial" list of engines available to Iran :

    Turbojets:
    J85 14kN
    Snecma Atar 42kN
    Tumansky R-195 (su-25) 44kN
    J79 50kN

A few months after separation, I still used to provide help to my ex in some matters. A friend of mine told me: "Are you stupid or what? She has cheated on you and left. She has destroyed you. Why you provide help to her? You want to appreciate her harm?". It was a wake up call for me. I was such a naive person in my relationship. After 4 years I have changed very much. I don't give shi-t to abusive people, and cut friendships/relationships if it bothers me. Now I put myself first. That's the only way you can live in today's world.

Did you by any chance immigrated to south east Asian countries? (the treats you quote reminds me of Asian women, I am myself in Malaysia right now). In that case I suggest you re-evaluate your situation. You may not do good for yourself if you live in a place where you have such bad memories, and living in Asia with its public health and health care system might affect your life seriously. It depends though.
