    Then you are wrong. The device is targeted to businesses for backup purposes. This isn't the next Video format.

    businesses that need this volume for archives and backups will either use HDD or tape, the only place where i would see a use for these is where we want a write once media i could see this used for hi definition video logs of court rooms, and congressional records and such where you don't want to make it easy to falsify the records which need to be stored for postarity.

    I don't know about that but if you go into your account settings and edit the information they have on you and you can request a report on your google usage be delivered via Email to you.

    odd in my experience it is windows updates that break stuff. I haven't had a linux update break anything yet.

    we live ins computer controled civilization willful ignorance of how to use them is a major problem.

    We expect people who own a car to be trained to drive it, and part of the training is basic maintenance and knowledge of how it works. people know how to change out spark plugs and add fluids swap light bulbs put in new filters change a tire etc.

    but with computers they don't bother to learn the don't want to learn and the actively avoid training. they don't want lo learn how to secure their computer the don't want know any of it they want to just click the magic box and have it do things for them. that is bad

    mine has never popped up in Virginia, it usually pops out in some eastern block country when i use it or japan a couple of time in California.

    After looking through the blueprints I couldn't find anywhere designated for a Stargate. Bummer.

    On the bright side, that is one more rumor that can be laid to rest.

    tsk tsk everyone knows the stargate is under Cheyenne Mountain, it probably a storage facility for pilfered alien tech

    I don't understand why. They sold songs they didn't have legal rights to.

    If any of us had done that, we'd have *AA lawyers hammering on our doors. So why in hell should a media company be given anything less than the full penalty for this?

    But somehow an incompetent company who can't keep tabs on what they're licensed to sell is only going to be pursued for civil violations?

    That makes no sense to me at all.

    the best way to get your money would have an attorney draft a letter telling them that you plane to file a case in small claims court for the cost of one laptop battery plus legal fees, point out that the cost of giving you a new battery would cost them less than it would to fight the case even if they won.

    you could try piping the pdf through a postscript to pdf converter, that will often rip out older drm it might work on javascript
