You got to be naive to even make a statement like that. How to respond? Who is going to finance your leisure activities? Rent/Mortgage? What happens when there are a couple of billion (yes BILLION) of these leisurely folks. Maybe, Billionaire Soros will pay for them out of the kindness of his heart? Exterminate the excess?

  2. It was my preference until it started dying. on Ask Slashdot: Is KDE Dying? · · Score: 1

I wish it wasn't so, but KDE is not what it used to be. There is just too many problems or difficult issues with it compared to the other desktops that have been actively maintained. If I had the skills I would try to help but I'm only a user. (sigh) I have migrated to Gnome and I am comfortable there so good-bye KDE.

It has been the mildest summer we've seen in years where I live. If we get enough local research would that be relevant? Everything in nature cycles. Weather cycles are not global warming. Recorded history from 1880 until now ain't shit when compared to life of our planet. I would guarantee there have been warmer cycles in the history before recorded history just by the sheer numbers and odds. "Global warming" is a political ploy to control the masses. To limit our lives so those in control can have more control.

I wonder if he knows Hillary Clinton? Oh well, this is a pattern of behavior by our court system to let the rich, powerful and famous do as they please. After all is said and done, "Laws are for peasents."

So, you think crooked Hillary should be President. If you work in a job that can be replaced by an immigrant, legal or illegal, you will just vote yourself right out of a job. Neither side is the most desirable, but at least Trump is nationalist rather than a globalist. "At this point what difference does it make." The fact that the Democrats are continually being hacked and left open to tech problems ought to make you a little nervous.

I am pissed and I am done with this $500 brick. I bought a Surface RT when they first appeared thinking Microsoft would support it for a long period of time. I suppose they have, so this news means grab a hammer! I am literally going to do this. Good-bye Surface, you have been a pain in the arse!

You can't be living in the same universe as me. I have a 128 gig in my 1520 now and considered buying a 200 gig but the reviews were very negative toward the large capacity. But a major manufacturer producing a 256 gig will make me spend my money! I get those pesky notices from Win 10 now telling me I am near full on my 128 gig now. As a matter of fact, I will buy one for my Surface too.

  10. I am amazed that no one here seems to get that Obama should have no comment at all here. The fact that he reveals anything by commenting is wrong. He has influenced the investigation just by opening his mouth. It makes him the worst kind of hypocrite. He is obviously not neutral. DUH!

There are not millions dying from car crashes per year. It's only 30k to 50k in the U.S. But that is not an insignificant number. I wonder how we could ever prove the danger and death that the vulnerabilities they want to create will cost. It is beyond their thinking. They, Feinstein and most of her cohorts, can't see any of that mayhem,
