If you already has a party that has the politics you want (The Green Party) then join them and work from the inside if you feel that going the new-party-road is to hard in France. The swedish pirates has a culture of seeing their party as a way to 'hack' the political system, just as one would hack a computer system. The new-party-exploit might be patched in France, but there usually is another way to get influence.

And also, you French guys have La Quadrature du Net which is doing some great work. Joining them would be a good start if your not already active there.

The Amiga Music Preservation project doesn't seem to recognize this which is why I refuse to let them take part of my own module-compilation. Can I export part or all of AMP's composer database and use it in my website?
No way! AMP's composer database is the result of many years spent on gathering and sorting information. In order to avoid legal prosecution we recommend you not to include any part or mirror our database in your website.

    Now, that's some crappy attitude.

And also the way they have implemented their Mint-search makes it almost as hard to go back to Normal-Firefox-search as deleting spyware in Windows. Just take a look at the instructions below. Might not be that hard for Linux-pros, but it's way harder than what the Firefox-crew meant it to be:

Don't underestimate The Pirate Bays role in the now global Piracy-political movement.
    - Without The Pirate Bay, and their takedown, there wouldn't have been a membersurge to the Swedish PirateParty.
    - Without the surge of members to the swedish PP the issues wouldn't have been picked up by the old-school media but stayed in the blogosphere.
    - Without the old-school media the average John Doe (or Svensson since we are still in Sweden) wouldn't have picked up on the issues.
    - Without the Svenssons the PP wouldn't get 7,1% of the Swedish votes for EU-parliament.
    - Without the entrance to the EU-parliament global media wouldn't have spread the words "Pirates invade EU!!" like wildfire around the globe.
    - Without the wildfire we wouldn't see the new international membersurge for PP in countries like Germany and Finland and such.

And a lot, I mean A LOT!!! of this is due to The Pirate Bay.
They are an integral part of this new movement and they have done an almost inhuman effort to lift the issues and I have nothing but respect and deep gratitude for them.
