    Though to be honest, if you had a single light always on and mechanical flaps that raised and lowered to block color filters (red yellow green), I guess then a traffic light could meet the definition, but that sounds incredibly inefficient.

    Robot is very well defined especially in this situation:

    a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically, especially one programmable by a computer.

    neither one of those things could ever classify as a robot. No moving parts in either. 1 it is a machine, neither a light nor a cell phone can be considered machines.

    Depends how you classify the Broadwell-e chips. I mean Xeons are Server/Workstation chips that may or may not support multiple processors, but the i-series versions are limited to single processor configurations and they still have 40 pcie lanes not including what ever the chipset offers.

    They are selling a mail server for who? It's not like you can run this device on a residential internet account, at least not here in the US. Running a server is against most major ISP's TOS and the majority block smtp ports, Since reverse DNS will not resolve correctly you will be blacklisted by every major email provider. So who exactly is this for?

    I like fresh squeezed juice, but if I have to buy some bag of processed "juice" that this thing just squeezes out of a bag, I hesitate to call it a juicer, in fact I almost think it is a fraudulent claim.

    Until is doesn't. Why add another layer of possible problems? If you need to run Windows software, use Windows. Crossover: Out of almost 15k games only 2,549 score gold, and Not gold games tend to break at somepoint, so while 2,549 may seem like a lot, a lot of those are much older and not very popular, Wine is a solution if you already run linux, it is not a solution for the general masses.

    Yep, because the IT department always gets to decide what bank a company uses.

    Webster is the bank, our check capture software runs in Java, and it looks like most check capture devices use Java (or activex which leads to the same problem).
