Where do we get that copyright is granted for a limited time? Gee, I don't know maybe from here:
Article I, Section 8, Clause 8

> this is not like New York with the Medallion system of protecting incumbents.
Your crazy if you think the medallion system was put in place to "protect incumbents". In fact I have yet to see anyone offer any proof of any "taxi cartel".
New York at one point had more the 30,000 cabs on the street, it affected safety and that is the reason the medallion system no restricts the number of cabs on the road to a bit over 16,000.
>Having an SSD on a Desktop PC, is kinda a crap-shoot, unless you get one of the really high performance ones, you probably won't notice much.
I beg to differ.
It used to be the upgrade that gave you the greatest performance increase was increasing your memory.
Now a days going from spinning rust to ssd provides the most noticeable performance upgrade.
Really I haven't heard of those being called SJW's going out and swatting and doxing people. Let's be real here and admit that the majority of the gamergate culture are just misogynistic little shits using some ridiculous call of "ethics in journalism" to justify their horrendous actions.
And tens of millions of games don't agree with the gamergate idiots who support slut shaming, swatting, doxing and so on. I'm a gamer as well, have been since the days of Kings Quest on my PC jr and lode runner on my Apple IIe. I do not and will not support the antics of online bullies, thye give us all a bad name, thus I will stand up and call them out each and every time.
well they did use some for their TCP/IP stack, at least back in the days of NT which would make me think some is still hanging around, even today. Nothing wrong with that, I mean the BSD license is truly free.
Big whoop, I sit on my 30-foot sailboat in Barrington Harbor. I am no where near what one would call well off. Having a boat does not mean you are rich. I make a lot of sacrifices so I can sail as it is the only thing I do anymore that provides me with relaxation.
I seriously doubt this would be considered a tax deductible expenditure.
U.S. Code 162 - Trade or business expenses
penalties or fines paid to any government agency or instrumentality because of a violation of any law are not deductible.
Star Blazers is Space Battleship Yamato and it wasn't an aircraft carrier it was a battleship. I remember rushing home from school to catch it in all the fuzziness that was UHF.

So it's the webpages fault? or your browser? Think carefully as no one else seems to be having the issue.
Why do you think the laws would change? Wouldn't the easiest outcome be for everyone involved be to have Uber follow the applicable laws?

It's Canada, so he may have a better chance up there. But I agree, south of the border he would be marginalized and probably end up in night court.

No one has driven more profits into the PC industry either.

I don't think they can as this was considered a violation of the law and not a contract dispute.

Uh, the Queen Mary may be moored here but she is a British ship.
the federal reserve prints nothing. They do not and cannot print money. That power resides solely with the US mint.
