    611 quakes in 2014 111 in 2013 40 in 2012 77 in 2011 65 in 2010 22 in 2009

    Fail my ass, look at the data and you see there are far more quakes in the past 2.5 years then in all the years before.

    Are you from RI? After 40 years of recycling in RI we just found out that until last year all that glass went to the landfill because they could not find a buyer for it.

    Yes because Oklahoma is such a hot bed for earthquakes.

    "There were more earthquakes of magnitude 3 or higher in Oklahoma last year than in California. Several were of a magnitude greater than 5 and caused considerable damage."

    We are talking about areas that until recently have been considered geologically stable. Don't you think that the USGS have taken that into account?

    isn't RealPOS NCR's hardware line? Their software would be Counterpoint or OmniPOS among others, it depends on the industry. I don't know much about the retail market in POS, but I support several different systems for the Restaurant/Bar industry, most of them suck.

    It's not, it's Verifone, which is odd because I thought they did payment solutions not the actual POS software. Looking at their site I don't see any POS solutions, just payment solutions for actual POS software (like Micros).

    According to the Encyclopedia of American Business History and Biography, at the beginning of the Civil War, there were more than 20 different gauges ranging from 3 to 6 feet, although the 4-foot, eight-and-a-half inch was the most widely used. During the war, any supplies transported by rail had to be transferred by hand whenever a car on one gauge encountered track of another gauge and more than 4,000 miles of new track was laid during the war to standardize the process. Later, Congress decreed that the 4-foot, eight-and-a-half inch standard would be used for transcontinental railway.

    That pretty much negates the reason for signatures. In fact if I required a signature for delivery and they allowed you to "pre-sign" on the web. I would consider that a violation of my agreement with them as the shipper. (you have no relationship with UPS as the recipient, as I am their customer not you).

    How is the search justified? Why, because he left his lane briefly? To search, you need either a warrant, something needs to be in plain view, or you have to have been arrested. Since he was not under arrest at the time and I really doubt the police got a warrant what was the legal justification for the search?
