You could just got to Microsoft's site where it is plainly stated:
"once a Windows device is upgraded to Windows 10, we will continue to keep it current for the supported lifetime of the device – at no additional charge"
Though I don't know who decides the "supported lifetime of the device".
Except Healthcare.gov doesn't actually handle any medical information. It's a website for purchasing a health plan, not for getting actual health care.
No medical information no HIPPA violation.
Still a really shitty thing, but probably not illegal.
>You can replace the SSD in the current Macbook Pro
and replace it with what? It's got a proprietary connector, and I don't think there any 3rd party drives out for the current models.
Skylake? really? it's useless because it doesn't use a processor that hasn't even launched?
I can understand the thunderbolt and the gpu but really to complain about the lack of a processor that doesn't exist is truly nitpicking to the extreme. especially one that may be delayed.
Want to cite a law about that?
Because I have never seen that exception in any law regarding radio frequencies.
Federal law prohibits the operation, marketing, or sale of any type of jamming equipment, including devices that interfere with cellular and Personal Communication Services (PCS), police radar, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and wireless networking services (Wi-Fi).
Applicable Law
The Communications Act of 1934
Section 301 - requires persons operating or using radio transmitters to be licensed or authorized under the Commission's rules (47 U.S.C. 301)
Section 302(b) - prohibits the manufacture, importation, marketing, sale or operation of these devices within the United States (47 U.S.C. 302a(b))
Section 333 - prohibits willful or malicious interference with the radio communications of any station licensed or authorized under the Act or operated by the U.S. Government (47 U.S.C. 333)
Section 503 - allows the FCC to impose forfeitures for willful or repeated violations of the Communications Act, the Commission's rules, regulations, or related orders, as well as for violations of the terms and conditions of any license, certificate, or other Commission authorization, among other things.
Sections 510 - allows for seizure of unlawful equipment (47 U.S.C. 510)
The Commission's Rules
Section 2.803 - prohibits the manufacture, importation, marketing, sale or operation of these devices within the United States (47 C.F.R. 2.803)
Section 2.807 - provides for certain limited exceptions, such as the sale to U.S. government users (47 C.F.R. 2.807)
The Criminal Code (Enforced by the Department of Justice)
Title 18, Section 1362 - prohibits willful or malicious interference to US government communications; subjects the operator to possible fines, imprisonment, or both (18 U.S.C. 1362)
Title 18, Section 1367(a) - prohibits intentional or malicious interference to satellite communications; subjects the operator to possible fines, imprisonment, or both (18 U.S.C. 1367(a))
Well since treason is also in the constitution I think you will find that your 2nd amendment right does not include an attempt to violently overthrow the government.
Except that's a completely different tech, Meraki does not block any frequency. The Meraki AP's target the rogue AP's by sending deauth's, not by jamming frequencies.

Not sure about Colorado but I know in Washington they screwed up by not allowing home cultivation and not licensing enough growers so price gouging happened. I mean who is gonna pay $840 for an ounce.
No they don't, they ship with AHCI drives. There is no support for NVME in OS X. You do understand that NVME is not the form factor right? Just because they have PCIe drives (basically a Samsung XP941 with a proprietary connector, which is an AHCI drive) does not mean they use NVME
You're an idiot. Ahmed was the cop who died and the #jesuisahmed isn't counter to #jesuischarlie it compliments it. "I am not Charlie, I am Ahmed the dead cop. Charlie ridiculed my faith and culture and I died defending his right to do so." Sounds a bit more like Voltaire then a terrorist.
and your reply is useless. I fail to see how calling for nuclear power in a discussion on AGW is anything troll-like... but then again I am probably feeding a troll right now.

Better build quality? you know this how?

I hate you slashdot, thanks for handling (completely ignoring) my formatting so well.

Why oh why do I have to hit load more comments to see more the 5 comments now. It is slightly annoying.
Yet.

Where did he say that unions saying "vote Democratic" is good? And really, fucking race-baiters? Are you that much of a troll?
What walled garden. I haven't had any problem installing what ever software I want from where ever I want on a Mac.
Oh I see your trying to claim the Macs are tlike the phones.
And if Apple stopped selling anything I still think they would last more then 5 years with the amount of cash they have,

I'm pretty sure the absolute lack of competition and not the fact that phone carriers are Title 2 common carriers had more to do with that.

And interesting that the conversation moved over to Mac, mostly since they cannot use this drive at all. No version of OS X supports NVME.

One article in Science News hardly makes a "global iceage scare". Which makes me tend to believe your calling bullshit is ideology and not science.
Your wife calls wire frames BCD's?
BCD's or BCG's are not wire frames by any stretch, See here .

Probably because it has some basis in fact.
If you can't figure out what he meant from the context then I think you might want to re-evaluate who the worthless fuck is.
Pretty sure Google still doesn't have satellites, they buy their images from DigitalGlobe like everyone else.
