Sounds like an awesome way to squander what political power they did gain on a fruitless fight for something almost no voters understand or care about.

By the way, if it was such a clear-cut political victory how did the GOP gain two senate seats over what they had before?

My prediction for the movie is Thanos has Snapper's Remorse and unwinds everything.

As someone who has been using Swift professional since the start, I really do not care though. Partly that is because of migration tools helping, but in large part it's because I'll probably be using Swift for 10 more years at least, so I'd WAY rather have the language be better to work in for a decade or longer, then complain just because I had to spend a few days making what were mostly bulk changes to code.

Even the worst of the conversions (Swift 2 to 3) was no more than a handful of days, and that was only a painful conversion because it required a tiny bit of thought.

I fully support the idea that languages, especially now ones, should be able to alter course until after some time it's apparent what syntax gels best with the language and developers using it.

So let me get this straight - what you want to do, is to take the system that works pretty well the way it is now, and place it firmly in the hands of the Trump administration.

Because that is exactly what we are talking about when we say "more regulation" - whoever controls the FCC, then controls the internet via alterations to the regulations.

The best thing the FCC has done recently is to RELINQUISH POWER. Now at least I don't have to worry about what any politicized government will do to the internet, since they hold less sway over it (they can still of course impose fines but it's not like that 30 page hammer they were wielding until the NN regulations were repealed).

I'll bet the number is surprisingly high as there aren't many technical reasons a seven year old phone would not still function, even if the OS it had was rather old...
