So what DOES the IRS think?

Perhaps nobody cares because Iowa is fairly meaningless. In the grand scheme of things, carrying (or not carrying) Iowa doesn't affect your ability to gain the nomination. You need a lot more than that, and the margin better be more than 8 votes. Just saying.

Apple took home 52% of Q3 Smartphone Profits on just *4.2% market share* (source: forbes.com 11/4/2011). I'd pretty much call that "winning".
For comparison, Samsung and Apple basically ship the same number of phones. But Samsung captured just 29% of the profit. Apple's making almost double in profit per phone.

I agree that his salary is largely irrelevant. It just seems ridiculous to take (a publicized) $1 salary for ... one calendar year. (If that?)
