    There wasn't really much point in replying to the parent post. The guy clearly doesn't understand PET or MR, or imaging in general for that matter. Nice summary. In conclusion, optical methods offer better resolution and specificity than tomographic methods. Also, Einstein rules.

    Right from the first page of the report: "However, in view of its ongoing efforts to improve the detection of identity theft, the IRS did not agree with TIGTA’s estimate of $21 billion in potentially fraudulent refunds as a result of identity theft over the next five years." So what DOES the IRS think?

    Perhaps nobody cares because Iowa is fairly meaningless. In the grand scheme of things, carrying (or not carrying) Iowa doesn't affect your ability to gain the nomination. You need a lot more than that, and the margin better be more than 8 votes. Just saying.

    Once you factor in the cost of the keyboard, ipad, your almost at an air anyways.

    iPad $629 + Case $99 = $728 Macbook Air = $999 I have to admit, that's closer than I thought it would be. The $130 premium of 3G connectivity kills it.

    You mean like the HTC Sensation?

    And the majority of users had no antenna problems. It required holding it a very particular way which most people didn't.

    Apple took home 52% of Q3 Smartphone Profits on just *4.2% market share* (source: forbes.com 11/4/2011). I'd pretty much call that "winning". For comparison, Samsung and Apple basically ship the same number of phones. But Samsung captured just 29% of the profit. Apple's making almost double in profit per phone.

    My thoughts exactly. What is "news" here? I think the I7 is probably faster than the Pentium III. Someone write that up...
