High speed nothing. My family went to the Zoo this weekend and my wife decided to take advantage of the tons of Pokestops to refill on Pokeballs. We were walking, on foot, not on bikes or driving, and the game would periodically pop up the "speed warning" and requiring her to click the "I'm a passenger" button....
And retarded moron commenter didn't read the story and see the user wasn't even playing the game at the time. And even if he had, that's not the game's fault. All blame is solely on the driver of the car choosing to do something other than just driving.
He would have been doing what most people (be they using iPhones or Androids) usually do when their battery runs low, digging out the charger cable and plugging the phone in. Same problem as changing the battery.
No, the cars win because the little bikes and their riders are fragile and the cars and trucks are not. Being smug (like most bikers) and dead is pointless.
Like I tell my daughter, "Pedestrians may legally have the right of way, but a car is a LOT bigger, heavier, and harder than you. And being "right" means little if you're dead."
PokemonGo had nothing to do with this death. It was a DISTRACTED DRIVER!
The battery he was changing was not at fault, nor was the fact that he had been playing PokemonGo and drained his battery.
The only one at fault is the DRIVER! He made the choice to do something other than just drive while driving. Do NOT blame the game, or the phone manufacturer, or the phone battery....
So? The driver in this story wasn't either... learn to read
And that leads to no cars, no trains, no baseball bats, no knifes, forks, spoons, tools of any kind, etc etc etc.
The PERSON is to blame, NOT the game/tool/implement.
Total lack of personal responsibility (which we learned from our "leaders" in the corporate world and government...

Beat me to it.....
How ignorant of you.

You are being intentionally stupid. No one can be as stupid as you and still be allowed to use a computer.
The game and the phone are not to blame, ONLY the driver is to blame.

Amen. Get your child's toy off the roads that are meant for cars and trucks

Less visible, and less well protected than the 1/2 ton+ of metal and power that they are sharing the road with
So FUCKING what!
THe DRIVER made the choice to NOT pay attention to driving. The Driver is the only one at fault.
Another misleading headline

HInt on what to look for:
How much money did the actual drivers make/lose?
How much did the Uber Execs give themselves as huge raises?
I think you'll find the loss somewhere on the exec side...
Yep, make the service available in more places and you'll have more subscribers than you'll know what to do with Google....
Go back to school little friend
Nintendo doesn't make Pokemon GO.
And besides, why should passengers in cars , or buses, or trains be restricted?
Actually, no.
Pokemon Go didn't kill the pedestrian, the moron driving the car and not paying attention did.
Why is there such a problem with personal responsibility in this world? Oh wait, too many lawyers need work....
Good little consumer sheep. Pay your corporate masters again for something you already have...
Your mind and view are way too narrow....
Because everyone hates Macs and Linux even though Windows sucks too, it's just the default gaming OS.... ;)
Rather just use the PS3 disks I already have and not need the internet connection at all except for updates....
No sale
And how will those plans survive those "filthy casuals" that will never spend a dime on the game....
OK, not just me who noticed that about the "Battle System"...
Lore? Pokemon Go has Lore? ;)
