Unless they do things way different, wouldn't the fine for defying the German courts go to the German court system, not the Goddamn Evil Motherfuckers Association?
If a predominantly black area has a higher crime rate, that doesn't make it racist, just a simple fact for that area. Sorry if the truth hurts sometimes.
Same for the suburb city where the facility is located. And the purpose of a business isn't to prop a city up, it's to make money. And if it's safer, cleaner, and nicer in the burbs, that's where they should set up, especially for knowledge workers where technically many could do their jobs at home while VPNing into the company network.
I want to set up my company in a blighted city with little to no street lights, high crime, under-staffed, and under-funded Police, Fire, and EMS departments and subject my employees to over-priced parking lots and high crime.
Maybe these cities need to take a closer look at themselves and see why people and companies are fleeing the cities for the suburbs instead? I know I don't want to pay federal, and State, AND city income taxes, especially to a city you couldn't pay me enough to live in.
Then hire your photographer is it's that fucking important, but to want stop their own paying customers from using their own cameras? Fuck you, I hope you are out of business soon.
Perhaps if drugs were legal and treated like tobacco and alcohol, they wouldn't be so expensive and hard to get and there wouldn't be as much need for that kind of crime...
I dunno, I haven't seen the guy in question, as I usually don't have time when Jeopardy is on, and I while I like the show I don;t care enough to DVR it, his mode sounds a lot more fun to watch then the drones that just start at the top of the board and grind their way down...
What's real funny about that is in most of the cities I've lived in or at least travelled to, Jeopardy is on the local NBC affiliate in pretty much all of them...
"I believe that two of the things that *must* be included in any proposed solution for it to have any credibility whatsoever are term limits for all in Congress to end "career politicians" and strict rules with criminal penalties for going from a government post/office/position into a private sector job/position for any entity over which/whom you had power/influence, in order to stop the revolving-door corruption in D.C."
Although I'd add in eliminating all political contributions to prevent that kind of bribery, and make ANY attempt to bribe a government official a treason-level offence,
Again, where are my fucking mod points when I need them...

I dunno, considering GEMA's whining in this case, the German courts will probably sentence YouTube to the gas chamber if they did that...
But I like your idea +20 points
I like this one even better
That is all
You haven't said anything of substance.
Or are you saying the government should mandate WHERE businesses set up now?
Crime statistics do not lie.

Let's see, company wants to set up shop someplace clean, nice, and safe; so that's makes them greedy and evil?
How about you make your city livable and then you can attract big business.
I dunno, most of the businesses that set up inside these cities get special tax deals to pay little to no taxes as incentive...
(from metro Detroit Area personally)

All executives are paid WAY too much.
No kidding, the ideas these companies come up with just keep getting dumber

...of why laws shouldn't be allowed to have "riders".
Each law should have to be voted on individually.

What he said...
How does that take the audience "out of the game"?
If you are too dumb to handle a simple category shift then you have bigger problems....

Except if he gets it wrong, he lose the money and the other players still get a chance.
Bunch of whiny little bitches is what it sounds like to me...
Because that way, even if it's recovered, the original owner has to buy a new one since the killswitch rendered it a piece of trash....
We the people can install Kill-Switches in politicians....
Agreed, stopping a drive who is driving like they may be under the influence is good...
BUT stopping ALL traffic to test EVERYONE is just plain unconstitutional.
More like "to collect and harass"
