This is nothing. I beat the heat by denying it because global warming is a hoax. The invisible and infallible hand of the free market will cure this problem just as it has with every other problem humanity has ever faced.
first the government blames the fires on guns. then they tell us that people shouldn't be shooting guns in dry weather because it could cause this to happen again. next they'll be coming around to collect guns as a 'fire prevention measure'. enjoy the obamunism; you voted for it.
the government has no business providing or purchasing insurance. let the benevolent hand of the free market handle the risk and watch the results soar.
i pay only the lowest price that the market will deliver. if dirty is cheaper, i'm all over it. burn endangered owls to reduce my kw/h price if you have it.
ron paul still has a dedicated nationwide cult of devoted followers. they will happily lay down their jobs, their money, and their lives to spread the gospel of ron paul. this changes nothing.
Save for Ron Paul, everyone is looking for a chance to jump at Iran.
sure, ron paul won't use the us army to attack iran. however, when the industrial arm of the military-industrial complex says it wants to go get its drone back by sending over their own employees, ron paul won't stop that. the rest of the world will see it as an act of war, but ron paul will still claim himself ideologically pure.
The question is, who gets the first claim on a body that appears on public property (unfortunately, we still have some around)?
public property is a myth propagated by the government. there is no such thing as public property, only private property that has been stolen by the government. all property will be sold back to the private domain so rightful owners can do with it as they see fit.
After all, a hundred pounds of meat or fertilizer is valuable property, and nothing to sneeze at.
and it will be sold off to the highest bidder until the property under it is sold as well.
we will let the market decide what the proper work week is for our workers. it solves all that ails. workers who cannot keep up will die and be replaced by those who can.
this method keeps the less desirable voters from voting, and allows the better ones to ensure their voices are heard. and since there is no physical paper trail, it allows for the numbers to be discarded completely and substituted with better numbers if that better suits the will of those in power.
yes, how dare the fda prevent people from taking poison as medicine. we should be free to buy liquid mercury as a cure for whatever ails us! bring back the blood letting, too - it worked so well for george washington!
don't worry, he will make sure this never happens again. once education becomes completely unattainable for these types of undesirables, every kid there will have either a lunch prepared by their nanny, or the money to go buy lunch from the cafeteria. meanwhile these kids will be working the coal mines for everyone else to provide cheap energy at market rates - while being paid slave wages - just the way the founding fathers wanted it.
Kucinich. He's got some wacky ideas, though, almost on par with Ron Paul's.
kucinich and ron paul are similar in the same way that butterscotch and arsenic are both great ingredients for a milkshake. kucinich happens to be the most liberal guy in a very conservative congress, while ron paul is a raging fascist who seeks unchecked power and total oppression of anyone who disagrees with him.
other than that, sure, they are similar in that they both most likely breathe in air, consume oxygen, and exhale carbon dioxide.
... just don't file taxes, ever. now your paperwork burden just plummeted. don't have anything withheld from your paycheck, and don't fill out any irs forms. don't go to h&r block or jackson-hewitt. don't save receipts or anything else. just don't file your taxes and don't send any money to any part of the government.
the cult of ron paul screams endlessly that taxes are an illegal scam, and they've said it so many times that by now it must be true, right?
You realize that most of the tax dollars paid (to the order of 95% of them every year) are paid by "the rich"
you realize that their share of the total wealth of the country is beyond that, don't you?
and not "the poorest of us"
you can slide those numbers around to fit your agenda, but that doesn't make your assertion true.
And that the "poorest" don't actually pay any taxes at all?
unless you are talking about unemployed people, you are full of shit. the poorest people who are working pay a much higher portion of their total income in taxes than the people at the top of the economic pyramid. and when you count in the taxes that poor people can't get around because they can't afford tax attorneys and clever accountants, their rate goes up even more. just because you heard your favorite conservative talking head spew nonsense about poor people not paying taxes doesn't mean it reflect reality in any way, shape, or form. go talk to someone who earns minimum wage and ask them what they pay in taxes, I guarantee its a higher rate than what you assume.
not that someone who spouts off that reality-ignoring meme would be likely to know anyone earning minimum wage well enough to be able to ask them that question.

you should be used to it in the usa by now, its been in place for some time. you can in part thank the millionaires in congress for this, passing laws to protect their own ass(ets). and of course some of the current crop of candidates want to make the system even more regressive, so that the poorest of us can pay even more for roads, schools, police, fire, and other basic amenities that are considered important to the function of a society.
remember that the ever-popular-on-slashdot ron paul specifically wants the very opposite of "more accessible elections". the candidate who calls himself a "libertarian" has on more than one occasion publicly chastised the american voter as the source of our troubles. remember that before you consider supporting someone who wants "a government you can drown in a bathtub".
while our election system is far from perfect, there are some who very plainly wish to make it worse.
humor is not the aim of my journal. the aim of my journal is to show very plainly that ron paul actually aims to do quite nearly the opposite of what his cult members claim he stands for. however, in no small part due to the high prevalence of said cult members here on slashdot, my karma is permanently at terrible, meaning most people will never read my comments here.
journal entries, on the other hand, cannot be moderated down, no matter how much other people here might hate what i say in mine. hence most of what i have to say, i place there, under the aspiration that someone will read it even if my comments largely will be kept unread.
nobody has yet to mention here that the term cancer is related to the crab (constellation) as the first cancer reported removed from a person was remarked to look "like a crab".
how very kind of you to tell people what they should do and think. and with your signature telling them they should vote for your favorite fascist, you have the whole message wrapped up in one neat package.

oversight overruling oversight, and the people get no say. this is not democracy.

He's trying to put like minded people in as state GOP officers, and to amass delegates
and as we've seen, ron paul and his cult don't care about the will of the people in the process, as only they know what the people really want.
ron paul still has a dedicated nationwide cult of devoted followers. they will happily lay down their jobs, their money, and their lives to spread the gospel of ron paul. this changes nothing.

the benevolent force of the free market has brought this to you. if people have to lose their jobs or profits in the process, so be it.

dead body disposal will, of course, also be handled by the invisible and benevolent hand of the free market.

whomever posted this forgot to tell us to vote for ron paul. this magnitude of falling off the official message of slashdot is unacceptable.
I'm hoping your journal is...humorous

happiness in slavery, brought to you by ron paul.
If the ice caps over LAND melt, it is a disaster. Over water the result is 0.
and do you know how much land is under the polar ice caps (specifically, where it is and how thick it is)?
