    What if it's streamed services or services that compete with the real cash cows... telephone service. International VoIP is incredably cheap and getting cheaper by the day. Looks to be a real threat to the hig international rates.

    I placed the order one day later than the author and didn't get an acknowlegement until the next week. I'm still waiting for mine :(

    The day I recieved the acknowlegement, I also downloaded the all of the developer stuff.

    I figure that if the code DA runs on a Palm III or Palm V, at least SOME of the code that is used with those will be of use with a LinuxDA. As a rough template if nothing else.

    And, yes, I am a linux user. The argument the it will only me of interest to linux users is, I think, facicous.

    He can ask, but at best he looks like an ass. In 1995, He pretty clearly acknowleges that there are/will be other implimentations of ssh: >> if the derived work is incompatible with the protocol description in the RFC file, it must be called by a name other than "ssh" or "Secure Shell".

    Then block it at your edge router. It's how I protect my network. To complain that misconfigured hosts are placed on the network is no excuse. If outside mailers can only connect to correctly configured MTAs then you can't relay spam.

    It's not like egress filtering "narrows" available bandwidth. It simply prohibits harmful transmissions from escaping a given network. The real problem is that unless everyone applies egress filtering, it really doesn't work. Similar arguments were made when spam started being a problem to, so who know, maybe it will work.

    It's called man... Unless it's called info... Or your distribution puts a man page in that says see info and the info system has almost no info (RedHat). I never did like info.

    What version of MySQL? What operating system/version? What glibc? I had a problem with 3.22.32, TurboLinux cluster server 4.0, glibc 2.0.7. There is a known bug in that particular combination. The solution for me is to get off of turbolinux (RedHat 6.2 with Kimberlite for me)
