What do you expect? These are the same people who bitch and whine about how MS copies rather than innovates, and then makes their own OS more "windows-like" with each upgrade and release.
I guess that's the only way to *really* make any money off Linux. Steal someone else's distro, make a few minor changes and slap a big name on it. Then wait for the offers to roll in.
It's just you. It would definitely be nice if Quake had more organic levels, instead of that mechanical crap we've been stuck with since the first one.
If companies are going to start pulling this shit, people are going to start reporting major flaws directly to the media instead of the companies affected.
You know how the media is when it comes to blowing things out of proportion.
I guess that will show them, right?
It's their choice. They accept the (free) help graciously and fix their bugs quietly without anyone ever knowing, or deal with a shitload of bad PR.
Neither do I.
The fact that my friends can see what I'm doing in multiplayer games kind of ruins the surprise of sneaking up on them and blowing them to pieces. Not to mention having to share a 4-way split screen with them. It makes the idea of having a large screen rather pointless.
I'm at -110 and I'm posting at zero as well.
I want my -1 back.

And 10 to 1 odds are that it's at least twice as stable as anything that ever came out of the US. ;p~

Ahh, I see you've met my friend Jim.
Hey, don't knock tentacle pr0n, fucker!
I guess they figured the flashing blue and red startup screen wasn't such a good idea afterall.
Grab a camera and take some pics so we at home can share in your delight.
As opposed to what, temporary tooth loss? ;p~
Not if they leave them in the cup next to their bed at night. ;)
Yes you.
Gotta love how PDF's linked on Slashdot now come with warnings. ;)
For the boycott-conscious, I guess.
The majority of bug reports I post are fake anyways, lol.
It's bad enough that people are talking about this bug. The last thing we need is for the editors to get wind of this and patch the hole.
You people have no idea how much fun it is submitting false error reports to sourceforge.
My life is complete.
Spaceballs give me warm bawls.
Every browser I use randomly hangs on images.google.com. Even on my Windows machines.
It has nothing to do with Linux, or the browsers.
It's just you. It would definitely be nice if Quake had more organic levels, instead of that mechanical crap we've been stuck with since the first one.
Slashdot is slowly turning into a warez trader's discussion forum.
I wonder what taco would prefer, warez traders or crapflooders? I for one could use some free movies. ;)
Aren't we supposed to be boycotting anything that has to do with DVD? Ohhh, I forgot. That doesn't apply to Anime and geek movies. Silly me.
What happened to the -1 default?
I'm waaaay under -100 and I'm posting at default 0 again. C'mon people! Cut a brotha some slack!
I want my -1 back!

I can see it now.. Taco and the gang getting drunk on wine coolers and having an all-out Star Trek marathon.
Gooooo Slashdot crew!
This is the sort of thing that makes me want to get fake testicles for my pet boa constrictor.
Neither do I.
