OK so my new Visor Edge only has 8 MB and this is offering 64MB. As they are using different OS and other software is this a direct comparison? Or do the different systems use different amounts of memory to do the same thing?
Sure this is going to take time, what doesn't? we have seen what a rush does with all the.coms crashing. But with divices such as Blackberry we are getting there. Before you ask no I'm not a user I have a Visor Edge.
From outside it has looked like the economy has done badly because people are talking themselves into a recession. Tail wagging the dog, which has been seen in the UK with the increase of the media's' control over popular opinion.
Also open source seams to be providing jobs. Companies like IBM, etc... are either hiring people directly or going into joint ventures with other groups to back this movement. They realise that willing volunteers will do not all the work, people have to get their money from somewhere.
What so the fact that Mark Thomas managed to get Nestle to print World Health Organisation warnings on it's baby powered milk in languages so that people in the third world could read is "purile schoolboy smart-arse childishness of the most pathetic kind"?
As can be seen from this article in The Register it's not just people out to have fun anymore. The Middle East conflict has spilled over into cyberspace. Is this the first conflict to do this?

Over here in the UK we don't have the 6-foot high cubes but much more open plan offices with partitions that you can see over when sitting down and I personally prefer this due to the reasons above.
Original it might TV wise be but there has already been a film, however many books, at least 2 MUDs, etc.. so calling it original is stretching it a little.
Also it's no wonder it beat all the rest with all the popularity it has already. It's like releasing the next Star Trek on SciFi and wondering why it beats all the other programs.
