I... can't believe it! My arguments were all destroyed! You have singlehandedly destroyed every single one of my arguments by providing a highly logical counterargument!
Not true. In the past, it was far, far more difficult to track people. Now it's possible to do it with great precision, and be nearly everywhere at once (cameras). And you can store the memory.
Since no one has flown a plane into a building under their watch it's hard to say that they are ineffective
Correlation does not equal causation. For instance, do you know what else we've improved since then? Cockpit security. And we have increased civilian awareness about the dangers of successful plane hijackings.
Besides, none of this is an excuse to violate people's privacy.
The actions those kids take when not in class could have a harmful and costly impact on others
Right. Just like you could be a murderer. But I'd prefer not to assume guilt or restrict actions based on what could happen.
They might want them to be in school, but I don't see that as a reason to be overly paranoia about it. It's not the end of the world if they skip class a few times.
and is ultimately good for them.
That would really depend on what you think of the current public educational system.
Treat children like subhumans and that's exactly what you'll get. I have no doubt that accepting this type of thing will just instill a belief in them that surveillance is okay.
It can't be helped. Child molesters lurk around every corner, and what if a kid skips class? That would be the end of the world as we know it! Therefore, we need to spy on them at all times and track them. That way they'll get used to the idea of being tracked and they'll accept government surveillance when they get older.
And if you're a normal person not doing anything illegal (unlikely given how many laws there are), you'll always have cameras watching you. Paranoia of criminals is nice, isn't it? No different from terrorist paranoia.
It's difficult to switch to someone else when (if) they're all doing it. I think the thing to do would be for many people to switch to one company (even though they're doing it to) and tell the company they switched from why they switched. Basically, boycott them one at a time.
But people seem too lazy to boycott anything anymore.
A single glance at a pornographic website will turn a child into a rapist and/or allow them to be easily seduced by evil child molesters (who are hiding behind every corner)! Do you want to let this happen!? Are you some sort of pedophile?
Anybody who watches islamist snuff videos and regularly consumes islamist propaganda is likely to be a threat, and belongs in jail (or should be deported).
You didn't mention anything about having to do anything, so nice thought crimes, there.
Why you little wusaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Now ya gonna get it!
Word about you has spread all over the grapevine. There are countless rumors circulating everywhere. Every single elite has read them. The rumor? You're missing a few gigabits on your puter. The person who started it? Komen Bryce himself!
Should've used Gamemaker. Fuckin' fucker cheeks patty.

Grand slam!

This appears to be a false dilemma...
Either let them do whatever they please, or treat them like slaves.
Conservative, liberal, republican, democrat, left, right... I don't really care. Just show me a good candidate and I'll vote for them.

It does look pretty good on paper...

No. To say otherwise is to demonstrate that you do not understand the true power of the cheeks.
Hillbilly mutt 20 is now an existentialist Armageddon.
Now use Gamemaker.
